Be a Beacon!

The last one we read was a song, a parody, but this one will be more informal, an article. You know that feeling after you have been doing the same thing for a while; it gets a bit boring right? Sitting at a desk every day, talking to the same people about the same things. In my opinion, there is something you can do about this. Ito s not about what you can afford to do, just as ito s not about how many blocks you have as much as it is how you put them together.

So make yourself a beacon!

Sure, a lot of people did not appreciate this new addition, along with fireworks, the wither, and the new sounds, but that doesno t mean they cano t be useful and fun! They are bright, attract people, and are worth more than a bunch of diamond blocks, since it is constantly working, improving life. Most likely, Jeb was getting bored of how the game was going, and wanted to spice it up. So do the same thing! Change up sometimes, and be a beacon.

Of course, not all of us can afford to just throw out diamonds and wither stars...

But there are better ways to get the ladies. While gold, diamond, and iron are all expensive, spirit is not. Sometimes when I get bored online, I go mining just to give people gifts, making new friends and dancing around while I do it! Sure, I could be that one annoying guy who is always happy, everyone always laughs at him when he logs off because he spins in circles, jumps, and holds shift to dance, but it would all be worth it!

Having a good amount of fun today it better than planning a great amount of fun for tomorrow, is what I say.

Why plan to build a mansion when you can make a tower with several wings of sketchy looking towers sticking out the sides? Sure, if you are going for a rank you should probably plan to meet requirements, but other than that why wait? Building in the moment will give you more crazy memories of almost running out of brick, building through a massive tree, and having WAY too much block variation, in a ghetto Steampunk looking way. Have fun today, you will make more friends from that than from sitting in a corner and planning it.

This totally applies to real life also.

Recently, I had been eating the 2 dollar pizza every day, and coming home to stare at a screen without writing, building or anything. So I changed it! Lately, I have been building on creative servers a LOT more, developing my skills, making friends. Going out for Jimmy Johns for lunch, and writing! Whether it is a modern tower, a Turkey Tom with extra tomatoes and multiple kinds of chips on it, my upcoming rap mix tape, or a blog for the PMC Ladies and Gentleblocks, Art is Art. Time spent on art is never time wasted.

I have also been expanding the music I listen to and the clothes I wear.

Why should I wear jeans, a t shirt, and the same pair of vans every day? Why not stop at goodwill every once and a while, get some sick sweaters and some legit skate shoes, a few more tapes for the Walkman? It makes life more interesting, that is for sure. So just go ahead and do it, set yourself free from daily routine, make the only constant change! It is your life, mix it how you want! Make yourself a beacon.

Shine bright, above all the others...

Spend some time to dance and be a fool in Minecraft AND real life! Despite the fact that life is the longest thing we will ever experience, it is too short. Why plan for tomorrow when you can play for today? I do not support the way most people say YOLO, soo ¦ Carpe Diem! Seize the day, make it yours. Look life in the face, and take control.
