This tutorial aims to show you how to become more efficient and a BETTER player.

1. Mining
a. Don't make Quarry Mines.
Quarry Mining is when you make a large square, say 10x10 and then mine it down to bedrock.
Pros: No knowledge of mining requires
Something to do when your bored

Cons: Slowest way to mine and very time consuming
Gives you more cobble then ores

B. Spelunking!
Spelunking is a method of cave exploration where you can find lots of ores with not a lot of time mining cobble
Pros: FAST, instead of mining away cobble until you find ores you just walk by the cobble picking out what you want to mine
Good way to find Mineshafts and Dungeons

Cons: Vulnerable to Mobs

Conclusion: Spelunking is the most efficient way to mine :D

C. Click Mining
Do not hold the mouse button.
If you use something called click mining you will become much more efficient
Click mining is a method where you take your finger off the mouse after breaking a block which speeds up the rate at which it breaks

Conclusion: Click Mining should always be used

2. House Space
a. Smaller IS better
Building a giant 100x100 house doesn't even look cool. Instead it makes it take forever to walk across and wastes a lot of space. Who even needs 1,000 blocks for a house...

I suggest a simple 10x10 house. This still leaves you with a lot of room and takes a lot less time to make. With a 5 high ceiling your house is finished.

b. Filling your house
To maximize efficiency here are some basic rooms your house needs:
Crafting room
Storage room

Thats it.
Make your crafting room big enough so you can put enough furnaces and chests in there and not need another room. Just place your bed here, not in your own bedroom with a giant hot tub. This makes sleeping easy and you will wake up in your most important room.

There's also no need for a massive storage room with a chest just for diamond. Every chest you have should be nearly full and generally labeled. For Example: Mining
This chest should contain everything you need to take mining and what you find while mining.
Pickaxes, torches, food, a weapon, and all your mining loot in ONE chest.

3. Inventory Organization
You waste time every time you open your inventory.
Fill the hot bar with everything you need for your current task.
NINE spaces is enough for anything

Farming: Some Hoes, bucket, seeds, and food
Mining: Picks, Torches, Food, Sword

Filling your inventory with ONLY what you plan on using is not only efficient but it also makes dying less annoying.

BONUS TIP FOR READING TO THE END: Only use steel or diamond pickaxes everything else is too slow
