Commands, blocks, generation & more! Ideas to Improve Minecraft [9th]

Hey. Here are my ideas that would improve Minecraft in my own opinion. Have a nice time reading!

Commands:

/gamerule OldPvP <true:false>

What is this gamerule:

This command would be used to switch between the old PvP system and the new system. The old PvP system was unrealistic but beloved by a majority of users, it didn't have a hitting cooldown which allowed to hit someone or something very fast and deal the same damage. The new system contains a cooldown which doesn't allow dealing the same damage by hitting fast and it doesn't have the sword blocking (if one clicked right mouse). This command would allow players to choose if they want to PvP like the good old times or using the new system without having to change the game version and keep all of the new stuff from the new versions.
How would this gamerule work:

It would be very easy to use. By typing "/gamerule OldPvP true", the current PvP system will switch to the old system (and so get the hit cooldown removed, and re-add sword blockage). By replacing "true" with "false", the PvP system will switch to the new one (and so remove sword blockage and add hitting cooldown). Otherwise, the default system (once one creates a world) would be the new system.

/gamerule doSeasonCycle <true:false>

/time <set:add:query> <value> [season] [season length]

These two commands are for the Seasons! Who wouldn't be happy to have a seasonal cycle in Minecraft just like in real life?
What are the seasons:
This idea of seasons is similar to Minecraft Day and Night cycle; if the current Minecraft season is winter, then it will snow instead of rain in almost all biomes, but the ones such as Jungle biomes would still have the rain. As the season switches from winter to spring, all the snow that fell during that previous season would be melting automatically. The snow would only melt in biomes that aren't originally snowy. Summer is almost as same as spring, nothing special, except that it would snow less often in snowy biomes (and so replaced by rain sometimes). Autumn would be the most rainy season. The seasons would switch every 3 in-game weeks (it would be the default length since they would be customizable).

How the seasons work:

The gamerule allows choosing whether the seasons (spring, summer, autumn, winter) change automatically by time or not. It would be just like the day/night cycle ("/gamerule doDaylightCycle <true:false>"). I have also a second idea to improve the original command "/time <set:add:query> <value>". The idea is to add "[season] [season length]" right after "/time <set:add:query> <value>". Why are those arguments inside "[]"? That's because they are optional: if one wants to change the season, they simply have to specify which season they want by replacing the "[season]" with a season of their choice! It would not disable the cycle. If one only wants to change time, they simply ignore
"[season]".The "[season length]" would allow to adjust the length of a season (same length for each of them). The value one has to type instead of "[season length]" has to be between 1 and 99 (counted as in-game days). This means that if one types "13" the seasons will last for only 13 in-game days. If one does not specify anything for this argument, the seasons will simply last for the default amount of days (3 minecraft weeks).

/circle <x> <y> <z> <diameter> <height> <block> [dataValue:state] [oldBlockHandling] [dataTag]

This command would allow you to create circles! See what kind of command it is and how it works below.
What is the circle command:
It is a building command. If one wants to make a circle, this would be an easy and simple way to make a perfect one. Some players have difficulty on making them by hand, or if one needs to make it fast, then this is the command they need. It would allow to make various circles with different diameters and heights.
How the circle command works:

As said before, the command would be mostly used for building. To use it correctly, one has to type "/circle <x> <y <z> <diameter> <height> <block> [dataValue:state] [oldBlockHandling] [dataTag] " and it's done! One would need to specify where exactly the circle center has to be by replacing x, y and z arguments with coordinates, what kind of diameter they want for the circle as well as what height and what kind of block (with the full variety of block options included) would it be made out of. The circle would immediately spawn in the provided coordinates with the specified diameter and height along with the specified block.

Items & blocks:

Marble.
Marble would be found in some biomes such as mountain ones, and lay at the surface of them. They would be not craft-able, and once one would mine it, a clean marble block would be dropped and it wouldn't be possible to change
it back to the original block that laid on the surface (except if you use "/give" or pick it in creative mode). Marble can't ALWAYS be obtained and sometimes it would drop simple stone block instead. It would be classified as a building block (left to the decoration bar in the inventory).

Small Grass.
It would be small sized grass, same height as 3 snow layers placed one on another. It would have the same texture as the original grass plant, and it would drop seeds more often since the grass would be considered in "growing" phase. This decoration block would however not grow and remain small forever.

Wool stairs & Wool slabs.
I think a lot of people will agree, that the idea of having wool stairs and wool slabs is great. So here is my idea of having wool stairs and slabs of each original wool colour. It would be crafted just like any other slab or stair. However, if slabs or stairs of other blocks would be added, the game won't feel Minecraft anymore.

Wooden walls.
They would be craft-able just like cobblestone walls but instead of placing six cobblestone blocks, 6 wooden planks of the same wood type would be required. They would be crafted out of each wood type or colour. Nothing more special than cobblestone walls except that this one would be usable in furnaces just like coal.

Light buttons.

Light buttons would be just like Redstone lamps but button sized. They would make less light than the Redstone lamp, but the smooth light they'd provide would be an excellent detail and lightning. To craft a few, a Redstone lamp would be needed and placed in any crafting slots and would give 4 light buttons.

World generation:

Bushes.
Bushes would be a great addition to Minecraft overworlds. They would be regrouped leaves with sometimes a wooden log inside. You might have noticed that bushes are already present in Jungle biomes, but it would be awesome if bushes were all over the world. They'd be a lot less dense than bushes in Jungle and would also lay in many different kinds of biomes. One could also get apples from them!

Sieged villages.
Another addition of Minecraft structures!?

Sieged villages would be like any simple village but with some ruined houses, some burning and a few untouched ones. The locals would be villagers along with zombies with helmets (to prevent them from burning). However, it
would be a rare structure but could still be something players could find.

Town biome.
Town biomes would be very small biomes where monsters don't spawn at all. The texture would be same as a plains biome but one would recognize it by the absence of monsters or by pressing F3. Sieged villages would never spawn on those biomes. Other than that, it would be same as casual plains biome.

Other

Better fishing animations.
Have you ever noticed that animation when you're fishing? There are usually water particles moving in random directions, my idea is to improve this animation and add some fish which would be only a visual effect one would see when fishing, however if the player would be too close to the animation scene, the fish would be removed (so there would be no confusion whether there are fish Mobs in Minecraft or not). It isn't necessary but it would make Minecraft a lot more cosy place. One would also be able to disable that animation in "Video settings".

Shadows.
This is one of the greatest wish, a really awesome idea that could be implemented in Minecraft.
However, there are Mods to use shaders, it would be easier if shaders were a casual video setting that everybody could access. There would be different shadow designs just like the Resource packs.
They could be placed over the default Minecraft shaders and just like any other resource pack, they would change and vary your vision. They would be called Shader packs. They could be as well disabled in "Video settings".

Some help and information you could possibly need:

"Sample Text" = Commands or arguments

However it is probable, that some or even most of the ideas provided by me
above already exist in Minecraft mods, writing this blog used only ideas
that came me in mind during the process of writing.

Overall this is my own opinion of what could improve Minecraft.

Thanks a lot for reading! I hope that you liked some of my ideas! If so, feel free to give a Diamond if
you liked any of these ideas or simply feel like giving one :)

Nice, I agree with everything except wool stairs and slabs. This is a pretty good blog, since the ideas aren't bad or strange.
