Around 2012, I felt like I was falling. Yes, a bit cliché, but true. Things seemed to be going so terribly, one thing after another. However, it felt so much better when I'd go on the computer and play MineCraft, to escape reality for a little while. After a while, it began to feel lonely, so I looked up some servers. After a long time of searching, I found an amazing server that I loved a TON. It was a Hunger Games server. I was one of the only girls playing on that server, until one girl logged on. By that time, I had achieved moderator position. I was looking around on the server forums, and found this girl's application to become a [GM] (GameMaker). The other moderators said that she should definitely become a [GM], but I wasn't sure. I didn't even know her. I logged on the server and sponsored her in the games, etc. She seemed really nice and mature, so I agreed to give her [GM] position. Once she was promoted, we started talking more. We exchanged Skype usernames, and started talking there, outside of MineCraft. We talked about things that were going on in our lives, and it was so easy to talk to her. I realized that her position seemed worse than mine, and she felt that my position was worse than hers at some points. We helped each other get through so many things. We became really great friends and talked in Skype calls a TON. We had our arguments, but we always worked them out in the end. She was like a real friend. And that's because she IS one.


No, I don't know her in person. I've never come face to face with her, but I do know this: she is a person, she is alive, she is my friend, and she is real. I don't care if I only know her through pixels, I still know her. She's helped me get through so many things, and she's always been there for me, more than some of the friends I have in "real life", as most people would say.


Later on, I got a PlanetMineCraft account. I met tons of people, and became really close friends with Sissy_. <3 I could tell her anything, and she's extremely similar to me, and we understand almost everything that the other is going through. Again, I've never met her in person. No, I haven't shaken her hand or given her a hug, but it doesn't mean she isn't my friend. She is a person, she is alive, she is my friend, and she is real. I consider her my virtual sister, and I love her to pieces.


I also met EnderCat. We goof around more than talk about serious stuff, but it's nice to have someone to laugh with. We both know that the other is always there for them to talk, if they want, though. No, I haven't seen her AMAZING hair in person, or touched it (hehe) but it doesn't mean she isn't my friend in real life. She is a person, she is alive, she is my friend, and she is real. Oh and by the way, Ari. I know you'd slap me if I touched your hair but.. IT'D BE WORTH IT <33


Even later on, I met WonderCat. I mean, I've always known about her. She was one of the first people I've ever subscribed to. I've always looked up to her because of her skins and how nice she seemed, and that she was a moderator. She was my full on role model on PMC. When she messaged me on Skype I was so happy. I always thought she was perfect, so I didn't know how I'd relate. Turns out, we can relate with a lot of stuff. We talk a bit and I love every second of it. She's an amazing friend and I'm so glad she gave a dork like me a chance to talk to her. No, I haven't seen her in person, I haven't given her a high five or a hug, but she is a person, she is alive, she is my friend, and she is real.


WonderCat also introduced me to MissMarifire. MissMarifire, is just awesome. I admire her every day for everything she goes through, and let me tell you: she's been through some serious crap. She is a huge inspiration to me, just like all my other friends. MissMarifire doesn't try to be something she's not, and she's always brave and strong. I don't know her super well, but I know enough to know that looking up to her isn't a mistake at all. I've never seen her in person, but I know she's there. She is a person, she is alive, she is my friend, and she is real.


Thereo's so many other people I wish I could write about. There are lots of other people that I'd love to consider my friends, as well. Like, Jetra. I don't know him very well but he's the creepy old skylord guy (hehe) and we both had good childhoods. (Who's on first!) Giggimish, and his obsession with Batman. Aquilae, and her Spock obsession and her Bird's nest. <3 3D and his flatcaps. PonyGoggles and her, well. I don't even know anymore, Pony. She's my B-Bird. <333 SugarKitty and her taking over the worldness. Darkrai48 and her amazing skins and her super nice comments. Contrast and his sugar. He's my fb4l.


ANYWAYS. All of these people, I don't know in person. But I do know that they are there. They are alive, they are real. And I'd hop on a plane in a heartbeat to see just about any of them. It doesn't matter if they're cyber friends or not. It doesn't matter if I talk to them for help or just for laughs. They've helped me through a ton of stuff, along with my friends in real life that I can call to ask if they want to go to the movies or something. They've helped me get this far, and I think that's a pretty flipping friendly thing to do.


Yes, I understand that many people don't approve of cyber friends, but they've helped me a crap ton and that's just one reason why I love them. THIS DOESN'T MEAN YOU SHOULD TRUST THEM RIGHT AWAY AND GIVE THEM YOUR ADDRESS OR ANYTHING. YOU STILL HAVE TO BE CAREFUL. Sheesh. (<3)
