Hey guys, today I'm going to be talking on a little more serious of a subject..
Griefers
On every server, there's a griefer. You'll never find a server where you don't get atleast one griefer, it's practically impossible (unless it's a completely privated server, of course).
All they do is ruin pure gameplay. You play for hours on end, creating your
perfect base and BAM, you look around and someone has just blown up
your house. The annoying thing about griefing is that there a servers
made for griefing, yet most griefers just do it to be a pain in the ass,
not for fun. I mean, instead of joining servers where the are actually allowed to grief, they join ones where they can't and get themselves banned.. Pointless?
Many servers have the resources to stop griefers, but new ones looking for
help? Well, they stand no chance? New server Owner's (for some reason)
seem to just rank anyone they see doing the slightest bit well and be
like "Can you help us?". The griefers usually play for a while before
doing it, and when you least expect it, they'll charge. BAM, come online
and your spawn, ranks, and everything is gone. Congratulations on
hiring terrible staff?
Griefing just makes people sad. Pure. Sad. So - All you Owner's, pick your staff
well. Make sure you have some form of Protection (World Guard along
with Core Protect, Logblock or other).
