I wanted somewhere to put my assorted drawings and sketches in that was a bit more organized than just the occasional post to the PMC artist's group, so here it is in all it's messy glory!

+ OC sketches!
++ Ancient horrid awful comparison OC piece!
I don't have a ton to say, other than I'm super happy with this one! Really like how the lighting turned out, and think it's another good step towards how I want to style things!

Did this over last weekend to practice proportion and 3D plains, Using an old OC "Dia"!
Not perfect by any means, and the full side profile is a bit rough. But overall it was fun to do, and I think it turned out well!
Now, to keep myself humble and to possibly help anyone who's unmotivated to practice. here's the same Character from 2023, three years ago...
1 Eye's that make anime look realistic.
2 Some kind of skin condition.
3 MASSIVE eyebrows
4 Lil tiny mouth
5 Rendering???
Overall 2/10. But happy that I can look back and know that I've improved :)

what are those markers? they look so good
I have a couple really nice Windsor & Newton alcohol markers (yellow, teal, & green mostly) then a full set of water based Kingart ones.
The kingarts definitely take some effort to blend well. Though depending on color they're about a forth of the cost of W&N ones, so I can't complain that much lol
If I may ask, how do you achieve it the almost like polygon look?
