Tatara; 蹈鞴. The Youngest Daughter, the goddess of the furnace, warcraft, and rice.

Yōsha; 許す. The Brightstar, goddess of constellations, creator of the Shikigami, and She Who Guides the Lost. She is the twin of Hitei.

Hitei; 拒. The Moon-Reader, god of the moon, lord of the Boundaries, and creator of O-Tsuki and O-dokuro. He is the twin of Yōsha.

Kyuusyou; 光の世界. The Red Blade, goddess of the sun, forger of Natsume-ken, and the creator of martial arts. The wife of Shimonoseki and mother of Hitei, Yōsha, and Nakano.

Shimonoseki; 下関. The One Below the Pass, god of revelry, nation-building, and familial affairs. The husband of Kyuusyou and father of Hitei, Yōsha, and Nakano

Nakano; 娘の下関. The Mist-Splitter, the goddess of dawn over the ocean, dangerous water conditions, and storms at sea.

Yagokoro; 八穂石. The Shining One, goddess of jewels, the wind, and earthquakes. Mother of Sukea.

Hoshigiri; 星薙. The Star Cutter, goddess of the night sky, rain clouds, and the chirping of crickets at twilight. Mother of Murasame.

Murasame; お雨. Rain-bringer, goddess of rainfall, divination, and thunder. The wife of Sukea and the mother of Kosame and Kagayaku.

Sukea; 好き. He Who Vows, god of healing, safe travels, and marriage.

Kosame; 小雨. The River-farrier, god of rivers, the bounty of the sea, and small children.

Kagayaku; 輝く. She Who Shines, the goddess of snow, motherhood, and the seashore.

Tamamo; 玉藻. She Who Collects Souls, the goddess of the dead, funeral rites, and wishes. Otherwise known as Negaigami.
