What is ServerMaker?

Server Maker is a tool i made in order to help people who eather want a server fast or messing with settings is not their thing.
You can find the program here: DOWNLOAD

Main Features

- Selection of build, with auto download support
- Easy GUI for the properties of the server
- Ready to use server in less than 10 minutes
- Config editor for plugins (not released yet)

Let's walk through the use of it, here is how it looks like:

What is what:

Build Development stage:

Build development stage refers to the server itself,
Bukkit and craftbukkit have build states wich are Release Beta Development.
Release means that the server will most likely have no errors and everything will work fine. The only problem is that the beta b uuid takes long time to be made so the version of it might not match the current minecraft version.
Beta is the middle stage and it means that it might have some errors and missing parts that will be later patched this build also takes long to apear but considerably less time than release.
Development build on the other hand apears almost instantly after minecraft updates (depending on the changes done to the latest version of minecraft) but it most likely misses parts/blocks/items/abilities and may also cause some nasty errors.

What should I select? Well that is up to you, If you want the latest version early after minecraft update get development build if you want one more stable but not so soon released, use beta and if you want the best and more secure one but late get the release

Servers motd :

Server motd is message of the day and it is the one appearing under the name of the server
In server maker simply type there this message and use one of the following codes for coloring:

Maximum Players Alowed:

This is the number seen next to the server saying for example 10/55 meaning online are 10 out of maximum players 55
This amount depends on the hardware you have and the plugins/worlds running on it.

Default Gamemode:

This is the Gamemode that players will have when they join the server for first time. If it is changed ingame and they join back, their gamemode wont be set back to default.

Port Number:

This is the number of the port where the data travels through. By default in minecraft its 25565, If you set it so something else in the ip you give out to players, you must include a :portnumber  Lets take for example this ip:
If you havent changed the port number and it is 25565 then you can give the ip as it is to the players to conect But if you change the port number to something else lets say 30000 then the ip must be changed to:

The port will be specified when you port forward your router (more information in the aplication after finishing server creation)

Maximum Build Height:

This refers to how tall a player can built at, this wont afect gameplay a ton but if it is set too hight it tends to cause lag.
Default is 256 but if you have taller buildings you plan to make change that.

Server name:

Server name is the name displayed to the user.

Level Type:

This is all about the generated world, as given by Gamepedia under section minecraft:
DEFAULT - Standard world with hills, valleys, water, etc.
FLAT - A flat world with no features, meant for building.
LARGEBIOMES - Same as default but all biomes are larger.
AMPLIFIED - Same as default but world-generation height limit is increased.
CUSTOMIZED - Since snapshot 14w21b, servers also support the custom terrain. First you have to generate a customized world in singleplayer and copy it to the server.

Level Seed:

as known by normal minecraft, the seed from where the world will be generated from :) there are a few out there you can google it :)

Values range from 0 to 3 and it is:
0 Pecefull
1 Easy
2 Normal
3 Hard
These are like in signe player on dificulty option and refer to monset spawning.

Enable pvp -> Allow players to hit eachothet and eventualy kill eachother.

Enable Query -> Query is a method of geting inforation about your server like online players ect, Some sites like Planet Minecraft use this to display the information on server advertisments, its good to have it enabled.

Anounce Achievments -> You've probably seen this to some servers where when someone gets a achievment like getting wood it broadcasts it to the public.

Spawn npcs -> If enabled alows vilager's to spawn

Allow Nether -> as the name sugests, this tells if players are able to go to nether or not.

Enable Hardcore -> This is the hardcore option also seen in survival enable it if you feel confident :3

Enable online mode -> This makes server cracked or not.

Allow Command Blocks -> Enable or disable the use of command blocks ingame

Spawn Monsters -> As the name sugests chose if monsters will be spawned or not.

Spawn Animals -> Again as the name sugests alow animals to spawn or not.

Generate Structures -> Structures are the randomly build buildings in different biomes

View progress Console -> This has nothing to do with the server but its a console about the server Maker. This shows you what is going on in the aplication :)

I am sorry for that but because mojang took down Bukkit, the program is not active anymore. I am working hard to create a new better, faster and easyer server creator. Stay tuned!
Again sorry for the inconvenience.

To find your ip visit a erbpage such as whatsmyip.com and to load a already in use world, open your minecraft saves folder, find the world you want to load (its a folder) copy it to your server's folder and rename it to "world" done! Sorry for not replying for so long. i have  some pmc issues.
