NOTE: STEP 3 IS FOR SAVANNA, PLAINS, OR TAIGA VILLAGES.

Are you tired of thinking short term, raiding a village, killing the iron golem, and destroying the houses, but then decide to live in the village and trade with the villagers, and all of a sudden zombies come in and do quite a bit more damage than you expect (i.g. zombifying and killing your villagers)? Well, here's a solution you might consider the next time you see a village.

1. Figure out what type of village it is. Desert villages have houses made of sand, savanna of acacia wood, plains of oak wood, taiga of spruce wood, and snow of packed and blue ice.
2. Know what types of loot you can find in houses and what houses you can find loot in. For example, in desert villages, loot can be found in armorer houses, toolsmiths, and weaponsmiths. 3. If you find a house with wood on the corners, chop down the wood. If you find a farm, chop all the wood on the sides except the wood that stops the water in the middle of the farm from overflowing. If you find a church (giant cobblestone building), remove all the little "nips" of cobblestone at the top of the building. Also, craft a fletching table, and destroy a villager's job block, but replace it with the fletching table. They should turn into a Fletcher. Turn half the wood you have into sticks and trade with the Fletcher until they do not accept any more sticks (which means you get lots of emeralds) and then trade for a stack of arrows and a bow. Play your normal Minecraft after that! :D
4. DO NOT: Kill the iron golem, steal the bell, destroy the roof, break the windows, destroy any job blocks (e.g. the grindstone you find in front of a blacksmith), destroy the bed of a villager, or kill a villager/hit one (both will anger the iron golem, and why would you want to?).
