In this first article of the "Testing Minecraft" article series, I will be exploring what happens when you throw a splash potion of invisibility at a shulker.
So, let's start with this: where did I come up with this idea?
Well me, being [a genius] me, started running through scenarios of what would happen if one were to throw an invisibility potion at mobs. For mobs like a villager, it makes the whole of their bodies invisible. But a shulker is a mollusk, meaning that it has an outer shell. So does an invisibility potion pass through the whole body of a shulker, and make the whole thing invisible, or make only the yellow blob thingy on the inside invisible, or make only the shell invisible? I was too curious, I had to find out.
My hypothesis was simple: Because the shulker's shell would protect the yellow blob inside, the invisibility potion would only affect the shell, leaving a disgusting little blob floating in midair.
Was I right? Pause for a moment, consider my thinking, and comment if you think I was right or I was wrong.
Wait... I was right? Well that's ... interesting ... the shulker looks so gross...
