Now recently I have been noticing that there is too much people that do not know how to put in Modloader or Forge and it makes them frustrated because they don't know how to load mods and cannot play minecraft with them. I remember how frustrated I was because of that as well. That's the reason why this blog is here to help you. You are directed to this blog probably because you are one of them as well.

The steps are actually quite simple:
  1. Open up Minecraft
  2. Go to "texture packs" and open up the texture pack folder
  3. It will direct you to a folder that will say "texturepacks". The folder is under the folder "minecraft"
  4. There are other folders in the "minecraft" folder as well. Click the one that says "bin"
  5. Inside there will be a "minecraft.jar" java application (or whatever they call it). You cannot open it so don't go crazy if you can't open it.
  6. Right click the "minecraft.jar" java application and click "get info"
  7. Click "name and extension"
  8. You will see the words "minecraft.jar". Replace it as "minecraft.zip"
  9. Now it will change it into a zip file instead. Unzip the zip file and you will get a folder. Delete the zip file (keep the folder!!!)
  10. Now copy the files that you have gotten from modloader or forge and copy it into the folder.
  11. Remember to delete a file called "meta-inf"
  12. You are almost done! Right click the minecraft (folder) and press "get info" and click name and extension.
  13. Change the words "minecraft" back to minecraft.jar.
  14. You are done!

What if the mod (that you downloaded) says that it has to put the files into minecraft.jar?

Answer: Repeat steps 1-9 and copy the files from the mod you have downloaded to minecraft (the folder)

Be warned, some mods may not work with each other and may crash your minecraft.
