Today (25/01/14) I heard about Minecraft 1.8 :D
I have done blog's on Minecraft 1.6, Minecraft 1.7 and now im doing one on Minecraft 1.8.
As soon as i hear something new about Minecraft 1.8 i will try and put it on this blog!
So here are the things that might come out in Minecraft 1.8-

So here are the things that might come out in Minecraft 1.8-
Blocks that might be put into Minecraft 1.8
- Diorite/polished diorite - It is a stone-like material. Diorite can be crafted with cobblestone to make polished diorite to make a decoration block for your minecraft creation
- Andesite/ polished andestie - It is a stone-like material. Andesite can be crafted with cobblestone to make polished andesite
- Granite/polished granite - It's also a stone-like material and it can be crafted with cobblestone to make polished granite.
- Slime block - Players and mobs that land on their top side will bounce making the slime block a "trampoline" It prevents fall damage, walking on it is slower than walking on soul sand. You can used 9 slime balls to craft it and then it can be crafted back into 9 slime balls
Villager changes that might be put into Minecraft 1.8
- Trading will now give you experience points
- There are now more villagers - Fisherman, Fletcher, Leatherworker, Armorer and a Weapon smith
- Trading will offer less random items and probably more useful items
Commands that might be put into Minecraft 1.8
- /blockdata - Can be used to change the contents of a chest, it is also used to modify NBT data at a specific coordinate
- /clone - It is used to clone in an area that you have selected
- /fill - Fills an area with specified blocks.
- /particle - Spawns particles in a specified area
