Anyway, you think Minecraft is just a land in a game? well, its most likely a representation.
Yes, you heard me- a representation! Steve chopping away at trees with his fist might be resembling Hope, the ender dragon War, and evil mobs being Death. it makes sense- Hope (the player) must beat War while fending off Death. Minecraft may be after a huge war or nuclear apocalypse, even just a new planet that's been mined and repopulated then abandoned.
Hope (Steve) placing a block of diamond to make a fort may mean rebuilding the damage. Steve fending off zombies from villages may mean defeating wrongful Death, so when Steve beats the Dragon, its representing the action of using Hope to end War and Death. In other words, say World War 3 happened, then they saw their errors. They would try and make amends to rebuild what they've destroyed, in other words, Hope rebuilding Lives. Then, as that progresses, the War and Death would fail. So, killing the Dragon means you've just saved the world from a War.
