SO my first day on the Orange SMP! that day was january 5-6 (because uh after midnight bad sleep schedule yes) 2024.
ignoring that i got on *coughs* two months *cough cough* after being whitelisted-

ANYWAY

First impressions, me spawning on the tip of a building. Very nice very nice.


Spawn looks nice, also oooh lookatmyshaders.

It has just now occured to me that my shaders might be against the rules since it makes hand-held torches give off light- whoops-

*cough* ANYWAYS i stole took from the community chests so uh thanks for the enderpearls i guess

There was only one other person online, Moxks, and they gave me some stuff, which was very kind of them :D (wood, coal, prob something else i'm forgetting. definitely something else im forgetting.) They also told me how the grave/tomb mod works.

i explored the buildings and stuff a bit and edited some signs with some nice text :D

then i looked at water. uh. i love how water looks yum. no but actually i want to drink it. does this post sound weird? its late rn

oh there's a turtle in this screenshot- (i did look at water a lot with no turtles though. mmm. water.)

An invisible wandering trader that i literally watched drink the invis potion and was still confused when he went invis. If I had killed him when the potion was in his hand would he have dropped it?? Idk I should've killed it for the leashes- (but i let it live)

my first thought was "oh wow the server's been on for that long???" except then i saw that blue's comment asking to be whitelisted was two months ago- is there another blueboybuilds i don't know about???


okay so i kept on hearing a frog croak and the "Frog croaks" subtitles but i just could not find it and i considered that it might be in this ravine but i thought "nah its not"


it was.

he was wedged between those blocks so he couldn't get out


but i set him free look at him swim :)


he's mine now btw. what should i name him?

anyway then i started swimming down the ravine to find some iron to make a bucket and wow it went pretty deep-


also i did find iron

anyway after i had explored the ravine i went to the deepest bit and started mining


And found an abandoned mineshaft

Found this staircase which means someone has been here before me! Which makes sense because I'm pretty sure abandoned mineshafts are supposed to have more stuff than what i found- uh i did have ores to mine and rails to steal though so its good (i have two stacks of rails please someone i will trade them for leads and/or slimeballs-)

anyway so after this i wanted to leave. I considered using the staircase I found earlier but I wanted to get back to my frog. I used the lava and the screenshot of it to find my way back. By this time I had run out of bread (WHICH WAS THE THIRD THING MONXKS GAVE ME-) and i tried eating glowberries but i accidentally planted some-


swimming back up i decided to take a screenshot of one of the two markers i had left myself to make finding my way back easier


the mining place i started higher-up in the ravine and then abandoned

ANYWAY THAT WAS IT. my first day on the Orange SMP. I'm planning to make my base in the water. ALSO please tell me what to name my frog. also also i still dont know why i made this but you read it so :shrug:
