Well, we all know about the upcoming Minecraft 1.4 Anvils don't we? And how they let you repair and name your items!
Well, are there secret anvils in Minecraft 1.4?
If you don't you must live under a rock because it is all over planetminecraft and youtube and (suprisingly) MINECRAFT.NET YES! THE VERY HOME OF MINECRAFT
Well, the anvils are great I was messing with them earlier, but they use a lot of iron, which begs the question (and the answer later on): Are there secret anvils in Minecraft 1.4?
I was looking around the minecraft world, and wiki, and even the creative menu when I spotted something I don't think anyone has seen before!
I went onto the Minecraft Wiki and discovered a page not meant to be shown, I think it was a glitch!
Now unfortunately, I couldn't get a snap of it, but I saw that, at the top it said: This page is not to be published until the full release of Minecraft 1.4
And I was there like: :O
But then, the page described a secret anvil in the new Minecraft snapshot. And that was when I was like: :D
I thought: "They're keeping something from us, I just know it!"
And then my web browser closed. Yeah, CLOSED! Then, I couldn't get the webpage back up, and it wasn't in my history. So I was like: Damn!
Anyway, so I had seen the crafting recipe and I was "Let's do this!" So I went into minecraft and did the recipe which was.
Diamond block, Diamond block, Diamond block
Nothing, Diamond block, Nothing,
Diamond, Diamond, Diamond,
Then, when I made it, I saw the name saying: Secret project and then, THEN:
Minecraft... CRASHED and it wouldn't open. And still won't :(
Anyway, after reading that Long and Tedious article, the answer is of course
No, There isn't a hidden anvil in 1.4.
