Hello people of PMC, donoedwards here with a minecraft server review on Rival Kingdoms!
So what is Rival Kingdoms you might ask? I will answer this simply: this is the best PVP server around! You can quest, PVP (obviously, what do you think you do on a PVP server?), earn money, buy a house, this server even has its own custom texture pack!
In detail, here is how to get started. To join this amazing server, click here. Want to see the server website? Just click this link. When you login, you will be either assigned to red or blue. Type /f home to go to the main faction base. To gear up, type /kit gear and /kit book. Warp to your secondary base (for reds its called understone) (for blues its called riverwood). From there its pretty simple: kill people and don't die!
Want to begin questing? Walk outside your faction home building and talk to either Decard Cain or Iron Guard. They are NPC's that offer questing for rewards! Ranks: Peasant, Farmer, Explorer, Soldier, Archer, Raider, Veteran. Each new rank comes with an unique kit to use!
Maybe questing or PVP isn't your thing? You can earn money too! There's mob killing every night at barter town (a neutral town that blues and reds fight over) there's a lumber mill to chop down trees at, and mines to gain more money! Once you have 1k in cash, ask a mod to get you a house. The next interval is at 3k, and the next at 9k, and the next at 50k.
Maybe you don't like to farm repeatedly for long periods of time? No problem! You can donate for gold member. Gold members have access to cheaper housing, unique kits that provide GOLD armor, an exclusive shop, and I'm sure we have all been on servers where donators are seriously OVERPOWERED; right? Well, you may think this will be a problem... Fear not! Donators are not in the slightest overpowered in PVP. They are just like everyone else! See website for donation details.
