Server Making Help

I am planning to make a server for minecraft 1.2.4 but I nee help. Can somebody plz help. If you do help me I will give you server IP and make you op. Here is the stuff I need help with below.

Example:

Real stuff:

Server IP (I don't know if I put it correctly)(op)

Lag (I know about the More G-bytes, but I need help, I did "Launcher.bat", but I don't think it worked)(Admin, Mod)

Plugins (Ik about bukkit, but when I go on the website I don't see the plugins)(Mod)

Failed to Bind Port (Optional, because the IP might work or not so I will comment on this post about that)(op, Mod)

Server Managing (I wanna know how to make a great server)(Mod, Admin)

Keeping my server running forever (Like other servers I want mine to keep on running)(Co-Owner)
