Hello PMC and welcome to my 20 SUB special, this one will be slightly different then before! I have gain some amazing community feedback, and most of it I will use!


Introduction:

First impressions count, and the one of ScavengerCraft can be considered above fine. The well decorated spawn and active community really let you embrace the feeling of a upcoming adventure. Though, first impressions aren't everything. Will ScavengerCraft be yet another hyped succes? Or has it the content they promise you? Its heads or tails, in this review!


The Server:


The plugins of this server aren't unique. Though, they are used in a very good & proffesional way. They are well configured, and all run smoothly with no flaws. Even though many among us have issues with the unecessary rain, ScavengerCraft seems to run it with no issues so far! The mechanics of this server are one of the best I've seen. This impresses me, how many big servers do lag with rain? Especially when having so much content like events besides the normal survival. Well, besides the many people complaining about lag while, its their own PC.


The greatest thing so far about the mechanics is how personalised it is, it almost seems like whole new plugins. The faction possibilities, the extra prices. You could say well done on those. It really feels like a new experience and somehow better with these changes, and are a great add on your experience of this PvP server.


The Community:


People on this server might not be the big patriots servers hope for to be, but offer you enough to feel like playing on "multiplayer". You might not get the warm welcome you hope you get, but what do you expect when having 80 people talking stuff like they are on twitter? Often you might get annoyed when people have whole conversations about "50 shades of Lapis" , especially when its mixed with 12 other conversations going on. I personally suggest them to add topic channels, so you can easily switch between the subject you want to talk about. As they managed to create great mechanics, they should be able to make that.


Even though the "mixed" chat might cause troubles, you will find what you normally find in a common community. Some people nice, some people lame. Whatever players you might come across, you are still able to join this server.




The Staff:



I often read disturbing sentences from staff members like "I have no time" "busy" "Not now" when people ask for , ( Is there any staff on, I need help, Help me please!) You are staff for a reason! I can believe that they have enough work already, but Couldn't ScavengerCraft hire more staff? The communtiy is quite unheard sometimes, and the ambitious suggesters on their forums aren't much appriciated as well. ScavengerCraft goes its own road, thats why it became succesfull. Maybe.





The Whole Picture:


With flawless mechanics, a common community and some passive staff. ScavengerCraft is not a hype at all, it deserves all its fame it has, and hopefully will overgrow the hyped servers we know today. Don't expect to have any deep discussions or help from the staff, as they will probably do more "importnant" tasks. At the end, you might not need them. as the intented systems to their job, and the community as well.




The Server: 10/10 - Flawless content, with alot to offer


The Community: 6/10 - It may not exceed its expectations, but still follows them.


The Staff: 4/10 - Are loyal, dedicated and smart, but they should a bigger team/have more time.


The Whole Picture: 8/10 - A great server with amazing mechanics/plugins, but a lacking staff..
