Behold: The Cadeerow


Here is me copy and pasting the stuff i wrote for world anvil lol i'll probably spruce it up later

Anatomy

The Cadeerow is a mix of a large cat, deer, and an owl. It has large antlers on its feline face, and a pair of wings on its back. The front limbs are deer legs, while the back limbs are the back paws of a panther. It also has a tail.

Growth Rate & Stages

Young Cadeerow are born without antlers and small wings, and as they grow the wings grow as well. Like a normal deer, the Cadeerow will grow and shed it's antlers annually.

Ecology and Habitats

The Cadeerow live in temperate rain forests. At day they sleep in caves or in large stumps.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Cadeerow hunt by flying through the air, scouting the forest floor for any deer-sized meals it can silently swoop down and attack. Once it has a meal, it will eat most of it, then drag the remains to the top of a tree near it's cave to store away from other ground predators.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Cadeerow have great eyesight which helps them see at night when they hunt. They also have good hearing to locate prey on the forest floor.
