>> First Project: http://www.planetminecraft.com/project/forest-temple-1106110/
Hello hello everyone, I'v been doing a lot of thinking in terms of Minecraft, and have reminisced of what types of things I have built along the journey to the present. From my first mountain side cottage, to my elaborate redstone powered super structures of today, I have never really had a solid idea going into my projects.
Ever since I can remember, my builds sort of built themselves in a way. I took a situation and worked off that instead of a basic idea. So if I needed shelter I would take my surroundings and build into the environment, or start from scratch, whatever. The real importance here is that I was never thinking to myself " Oh you know what, this will look good here, and I should clear this area to be able to put x by y " or whatever. I just build, and when I do I can't explain what happens, but I forge what I'v come to know as unique structures. Unique, that's the hole idea of Minecraft right?
You betcha, and if my house even looks like yours then I have a problem with that. I like to maintain that individualism in my builds, because too much of one thing always bores me. I retain some of the architecture in my builds, but depending on the the way I'm building it will morph slightly over time, creating yet another brand new style.
So now we come to the actual reason for the article. Theory Crafting is what I'm calling my type of build style, because in theory, I subcutaneously build. So what's the best way to show off unique builds? Show the community duh. As of late I have been hard at work on a whole new build, and the scale of it is enormous. I took an idea and now it's becoming something that I'v never seen before. And that's what all this talk of what Theory Craft is about, me showing you guys cool builds that I have engineered and built, and going in depth on the though proses that went into building it.
Please give my projects a chance, thanks for reading, byeeeeee
