Hey guys! Today I'm going to show a really cool trick. With this trick, you can make sand, gravel, red sand and even ANVILS all float! Crazy, right? This is how you do it:

Step 1: Plant a plant on a piece of grass block that is two blocks tall. (Sunflowers, rose bushes, double tallgrass, peonies, large ferns and lilacs all work)

Step 2: Put the block that you want to float on top of the plant.

Step 3: Break the plant, and there you go!

Also, if you walk on it, it won't fall! Amazing! But if you want it to fall, say for a trap, just put a piece of string on top of the block BEFORE you break the plant. Then, if a player or entity walks on the string, it will fall. If you put anything else on the block before you break the plant, you have to actually break what you put on it, for it to fall. As always, thanks so much for reading, and let me know if you came up with a good idea for a trap with this trick! Merry Christmas, and don't forget to diamond! :D

Hey guys! I forgot to say, you can make dragon eggs float with this trick too, as dragon eggs also will fall if there is no block under it. I know that dragon eggs are not in your normal creative inventory, so this is the command to get a dragon egg, if you didn't know how to: /give <username> 122     or for 1.8     /give <username> dragon_egg   Have an awesome Christmas!

You can use barriers too. The barriers can make it float as high as you can. You can make it 100 blocks high with barriers. Just put
/give (player's name) minecraft:barrier

You don't need to do that just use barriers. it's not in the creative inventory it's got by a command like this
/give (player's name) minecraft:barrier

I know, but I meant you could use the tripwire version for traps

There is another way,for 1 block tall.It isn't a bug/glitch.A torch would be a solid block,so if you place sand on top of it,then it does not fall.Again, this is NOT a bug/glitch.Sometimes,the sand does fall, but I don't know why.

That's not the same thing as a block that's supposed to fall, not falling even there's nothing holding it up. That's just saying that torches can act as a block. Thanks for the comment anyway!

And what happens if the sand falls?Well,it comes out as a block that looks like,I guess you...threw it.
