Transported - Chapter 2

I decided that staying in this house wouldn't offer me the anwsers I was looking for. I quietly step down the spiral staircase in the corner of the room. The house was generally empty besides the bed and chest upststairs. I push the front door open to reveal something unexpected. I didn't really know what I was expecting, but this wasn't it. I am greeted by what appears to be a town, or a kingdom. I see a large courtyard in front of me with a fountain in the middle of it. I walk over towards the fountain. This looks to be a large town, but I don't see anyone here besides myself. Should I call out? What if I'm not safe here? I suppouse I should find some other people, if there are any other people.
