Hi everyone, really pleased with the result of my last blog. I will try to blog at least once a few weeks since I am working on a special project for my friend's birthday. I've recently got into the Walls craze again after Hypixel announced his 36-hour Mega Walls tournament/competition/fun play, so I decided to make this blog to help you all. Let's get started!

Introduction
No time for introductions. Next topic.

Introduction II
The Walls is a minigame which requires 4 teams of players to be separated into 4 sections, which are blocked by walls (hence the name), for a certain amount of time. Each team will need to gather materials in their section until the time is up, and the walls drop. After the walls drop, teams will need to clash against each other and attempt to destroy each other until one team is left standing. Usually in Walls servers or maps, the spawn will be filled with exclusive goodies. Happy playing!

Introduction III
Firstly, find a good server to play the Walls on, and a lot of time to do it. A few great options are Hypixel's, or Minecade..and...er...that is all. We'll just use Hypixel's server for an example right now, not trying to advertise here. He has 2 gamemodes, but for now I will stick to the original one (The Walls, not Mega Walls). Join a decent-sized Walls game (for example, a 15/50 player game) so that you can guarantee yourself a spot in a great team.

Teams
Once you're in a game, choose your designated team. Try to choose one that is popularly advertised while you are in lobby time,  or start advertising for one of your favorites. For example, here's some lines people might say. I'll help you choose the right team...or at least help out.

"omg join our teem k? RED FTW RED FTW pwn evryone else"

"Join blue! We're going to beat everyone."

"We have VIPs and staff members on our team! Join us!"

All of these 'speeches' are actually fine, to be honest. It's really your choice. I usually pick the second or third option, because I know some VIPs and staff are definitely great team players, and I like it when someone uses proper grammar. You decide!

3...2...1...Go!

Quickly find the nearest tree and grab 5 pieces of wood. If you start with a pickaxe, go directly to the mines (in my opinion, only applicable for Hypixel's server since there's a lot of iron and coal everywhere) and dig. After getting wood, just find a spot and dig. There is plenty of iron on Hypixel's server so it won't be a major problem if you don't have materials, because other teammates can always back you up! Here are some stats and numbers for you, so you know how much you should get approximately:

24 Iron - Full set of armor only.
26 Iron + 1 Stick - Full set of armor plus sword.
35 Iron + 6 Sticks - Full set of armor, and complete iron toolset (sword, pickaxe, axe, and shovel)
[Strongly Recommended] 35 Iron + 6 Sticks + 2 Stacks of ?  - Full set of armor, complete iron toolset (sword, pickaxe, axe, and shovel), and 2 stacks of any blocks for building and emergencies.

Also, you have the option to use other items such as buckets, shears, etc. Buckets are recommended if you build a base or enjoy indirectly hurting people. Always grab at least a few blocks or else you could be cornered with no escape path.

Tactics
So, you've gathered all of your items and the clock is ticking. What did your team say? What's a skybase? What? Rushing? Here is a definition for both of them that will hopefully clear it up for you.

Skybasing
What skybasing is it what it sounds like. You place blocks up to a decent level in the sky, and make a base! This will require a lot of blocks and food, depending on the height of your base. Also, make sure to grab extra materials for teammates or other situations, because later on, you'll find yourself pretty bored!

I remember on Minecade I had loved skybasing. I always used a kit with one of the 'push sticks', which had the enchantment 'Knockback I' on it and was perfect for skybasing. Some special items you can grab are lava buckets or water buckets, TNT and redstone torches, etc. There's always room for improvement!

Rushing
Rushing is a more direct matter, and could get you killed easily. Most of the time, rushing means to wait for the walls to drop. Players usually wait at the 'corner' of the arena, which is the part most direct towards the middle. This requires less preparation and you can easily grab materials at the last minute without having to rush yourself.

When you rush, you can take all of your material-getting easy and even wait until the very last second to jump at the other teams, no worries! However, be careful when you rush. Many times people can get easily killed so stick to your team and run away if it's a 2 on 1. Well...obviously.

In the End
Well, it's almost time for the end. It's been 30 minutes now, and you're stuck doing...well, something. Remember: You can always switch tactics anytime but you should still have your team with you. If you've made a skybase by yourself while the rest of your team rush, either suggest them to come up later or go with them. Teams are much more stronger as one and definitely will help you.

Alright, I think that's all for today. Please diamond, comment, and subscribe to show your support! Constructive criticism is welcomed, and I always subscribe to those who comment/appreciate my work. Seeya!

Thank you so much. I don't usually like to advertise or share my writing skills, but in the form of persuasive writing and blogging it's a breeze. Subscribed back, thank you again!
