Heyo~ it's SquishyZaUltra here! I've been lately busy because of things, but here's the ULTRAblog! Hope you like it!

"Joking" when a person is depressed--the worst time do do something like that
Once apon a time, there was a person named "Example1". Example1 was a user who had lately been depressed over.....personal things irl. (For some of you that don't know what irl stands for, it stands for, "In Real Life".) Example1 had JUST discovered an awesome looking place called the, "Chat Lounge". He decided to go in for once. When he entered, he saw lots of chat messages. Eventually, someone said, "Hello, Example1. Is this your first time here in the Lobby?". This person was named, "Example2". "Uh, yeah. It is..." Example1 replied. And the conversation continued...
"So, you live in Canada, Example1? Awesome! I do, too! It would be SO cool if we were actually neighbors!" Example2 said. "Uhm....yeah, I guess!" Example one replied. Example then fell great. Example1 and Example2 became buddies eventually. The next few days, Example1 found Example2 with another guy chatting. "Oh! Hey, Example1! I want you to meet Example3!" Example2 introduced Example3. "Hey! We were JUST talking about how Mexicans are SO boring! And how they're SO ridiculously out-dated!" Example3 explained. All of a sudden, Example1's name disappears from the list of users.
Obviously, you probably get what I mean. Example1 must've been Mexican, or his depression was something to do with Mexicans. But either way, he either got offended or depressed. Here's another example:
Mr. BobBlob has joined the game
[Mr. LarryTheHairy] Hello! Welcome to my server! I hope you like it here!
[Mr. BobBlob] Oh, hello! This is my first time on any server at all.
[Mr. LarryTheHairy] Oh! Cool! Well, since it's your first time here, please read the signs at spawn.
[Mr. BobBlob] Okay, thanks!
Mr. FredLed has joined the game
[Mr. LarryTheHairy] Hello, Led!
[Mr. FredLed] Heya, bro! Sup? Who's da noob?
[Mr. LarryTheHairy] Oh, Mr. BobBlob, I want you to meet Mr. FredLed!
[Mr. BobBlob] Okay, hi!
[Mr. FredLed] Sup, noobie?
[Mr. BobBlob] What's a noob or noobie?
[Mr. FredLed] EVERYONE should know that! A noob is a new guy!
[Mr. BobBlob] Oh...okay........
[Mr. LarryTheHairy] Didn't your mom ever tell you that, Bob? Or is she dead?
Mr. BobBlob has left the game
I don't know about you guys, but I saw what was up with that one. ^^''! If you didn't, it was the next to last sentence. Huh? Still don't get it? Hmh. I guess no cookie for you. Well, I'll tell you. Mr. BobBlob must've lost his mom, and he must've felt depressed about it. And YES, just saying that can hurt someone.
You never know who is suffering from depression, guys. Whether it's a friend or a stranger, please be careful on what you say. You never know who could see your comment or see your text or even hear you. That's why you need to be careful.
Like the ad in the magazines says, "Simple pleasures can hurt."
They really can hurt. Laughter can hurt, amirite? How about someone else's laughter? Yep, that also can hurt. What about group chats? Blogs? Even skins and texture packs? Yep...
1. It could hurt someone's feelings
2. Something you say in the description, picture or even the title could be rude or hurtful.
3. Something could even cause depression.
I don't know if you know, but I know that simple pleasures like light, joy, laughter, and those kinds of things could really hurt. Like I said, you need to be careful with what you say.
What can you do about someone's depression...?
I'm not completely sure about that. If it's a friend irl, maybe you can talk to them about it. Or maybe find a way to cheer them up. Here are some ways you can cheer someone up
1. Making up silly jokes. (NOT hurtful ones, ones that can make anyone smile.)
2. Talk to your friend about it. Maybe they're depressed about something someone said to them. You never know. Maybe it's even something YOU said, but you didn't know it would make them depressed. Talking it out would definitely help.
3. Cheering them up with a gift. (I'm not telling you to, I'm just saying it'd be nice.) Maybe a drawing or a doll? Or maybe giving them an airplane toy? Or a toy car? (I know a lot of those little boys out there love their toy cars. >w<) Or even a sweet card.
Those are just SOME ways you can help someone. I'm pretty sure there are more ways out there in the depths of the world. ^^''!
