Here is a quick little thought I had.
So many mods haven't updated to 1.7.4 or any 1.7 version for that matter, and CaptainSparklez recently released a video on the screenshot for minecraft 1.8. So where has the updating gone? The wonderful mods that PMC hosts on this website are mosty 1.6.4, not as to disgrace PMC by saying that the Minecraft Forums haven't been having alot of 1.8 mods.
Anyone know where the mods have gone? They ARE being updated with new content, but not the versions. Minecraft modding would jump from 1.4 to 1.5 just like that, but I didn't care much about mods before 1.4. This was just a little question I had.

However there are still custom coded servers like mine that are running on 1.7.
