Where to go in a Zombie Apocalypse
Open field: An open field could be a decent place to hide out if you had the skills to survive there. The trouble is you could be spotted easily, or a horde could come through and kill you. You would have a lot of land to expand your camp, so if you were planning on staying there you could build some pretty decent defenses. However if you are in an open field, tools and other supplies won't be very common. If you did have the tools, and supplies to stay there, you could build a wall around your camp so if a horde came through, you may not be noticed. i rate this a 6 out of 10 place to stay because of the danger and lack of supplies.
Trailer park: If you wanted to stay at a trailer park, you may need to bring supplies from a city. Trailers wouldn't be the best idea if you wanted to stay clear of zombies, but it may help you get away from people as they tend to be isolated. You also would have a fair amount of food and water at the beginning of the apocalypse, and also some tools too. The problem is if a horde walked through you would be in trouble. I rate the trailer park a 5 out out 10 place to stay because of the lack of supplies and threat of zombies.
Residential House, just outside of a city or town: Residential areas in general can be a good place to stay, as you have an average amount of all supplies. You would have some food, and water and also some tools and entertainment items. Houses just outside the city won't exactly be filled with zombies but expect to see some. Looting won't be a big problem as you would have houses around you and maybe some shops, but bandits won't be that rare to see because you will be close to town. I rate this place a 6 out of 10 place to stay because of the amount of zeds and bandits.

Cabelas in west Virginia because it has a resturant, an aquarium (you can grow your own fish to eat) tons of out door supplies and weapons, it has gear to survive and lock the place up, and across the road is the Cabelas warehouse so there will be plenty of supplies to last you for a long time. Plus there are plenty of places to hide in the store.
