That's right, you. You'd better prepare your face, because I'm about to tell *you* why the PMC forums are awesome and deserve some love! Because of the way the site is set up, the forums are largely severed from the main site, which means many people don't use them or even know what's in them. Well, that needs to change. For everyone who's avoided using the forums, here is a list of fun things for you to do in them!

Read the Rules!
Alright, so, this might not be the most fun thing ever, but we all know how important the rules are (right?). Be sure to take a gander at this section when you begin your journey in the forums.

Introduce Yourself!
Now we're getting into the fun! Whether you admit it or not, everyone likes talking about themselves. Why not start off your time at the forums doing just that?

Find Friends!
Looking for that special someone who shares the same interests as you? Fear not! The forums are the best place to find buddies to talk to and even play MC with.

Express your Opinions!
Think the newest snapshot sucks? Wish Jeb would add such-and-such into the game? Discuss your opinions and ideas with others in the forums.

Find a Server!
Looking for a specific type of server? With dozens of server owners advertising and competing for your attention, you're bound to find a server on the forums worth trying out.

Get Recruited!
Speaking of servers, those dozens of servers need staff! Post your applications and look for staff positions in the forums. This also applies to YT LPs, skin shops and more!

Join an RP/Hub!
Real life seem a bit boring? Looking to create an original character and go on awesome, text-based adventures? Join an RP! Not really your thing? Why not join one of our many hubs! With everything from cute animals to Ponies to writing, you're sure to find a hub you like.

Participate in Competitions!
From skinning and building contests to maps and even animation contests, people are always looking for competitors and judges for their contests in the forums.

Help Others!
We all know good it feels to help others, and there are always people looking for help in the forums. Whether you happen to know something about creating things, fixing MC or even using PMC itself, you're sure to find someone very grateful for your knowledge!

Show off your Avatar!
You've spent a lot of time and effort looking for the perfect avatar to represent you. Now that you've found one, though, isn't it a shame more people can't see it? Unlike in the regular site, your avatar shows up next to every post you make in the forums. This might sound silly, but avatar-recognition is one of the best things you can cultivate when trying to 'get noticed'. Speaking of...

Get Noticed!
Now, I know what you're thinking. "Soup!" you cry, "That's a terrible reason to tell people to use the forums! People shouldn't be going there just for personal gain." While that might be true, let's have some realtalk for a second. Whether it's 'right' or not, there are a ton of people here who really care about PMC and are looking for ways to get noticed by mods and others. In my opinion, the best way to do that is to be active, helpful and mature on the forums (and on chat, but I'm never in chat xD). While I certainly can't guarantee that you'll become a mod or super-good friends with the mods, it undeniably increases your chances of doing so.
