Nether stars are great... if you want a beacon. Other than that, they're useless. This datapack adds a bunch of recipes that use a nether star (seen in the photos). If there are any other recipes I should add, tell me. Thanks!

I think the end portal frame should require an item found only in the end, so it's not as overpowered. Name tags should be craftable but they're not worth a nether star, especially only 3 tags.

Looks cool! IMO the elytra recipe would work better with Phantom Membranes instead of leather and string.

To be honest, this was a pack I threw together in about 30 minutes, and I don't really plan on making changes. As much as I would love to say "Thanks so much! I'll immediately start working on that", in reality, I might implement that, but there is a good chance I will just never get around to it. Great idea though.

fair point... I will consider this, but the thing with the wither fight is its really an iconic part of the game. I don't really want to take it away, but this gives me an idea for another datapack... better wither!

Or at least make the skulls easier to drop, I had to kill hundreds of wither skeletons just to get 3 heads, that felt kinda racist

The only recipe I think is OP might be the Elytra one, because it removes the need to go to the end before acquiring wings.

I like the idea of renewable Elytra, but perhaps adding a material that forces you to hit the End Islands would add the balance back in. Such as Chorus Fruit, Purpur, or an End Rod?

Thematically, it might make sense to switch the Leather for Membranes, but that's just an opinion based statement.

Lovely Data Pack. I'm adding it to the psuedo-modded server world I'm making for my kids to explore. :)

End portals are unbreakable, so it would be wierd to have them as recipes, you can trap players permanently even sometimes. so it is kind of Op

Big red mushrooms can still break End Gate blocks, if you get something in the wrong place.



In multiplayer, it might be best to deactivate the recipe, or make it tied to OP perms.
