Concoction

Minecraft's Potions are inconvenient, they take up way too much inventory space

With Concoction, you can mix Potions or Splash Potions together to a single Potion that has all the effects in a single bottle

How to Mix

To mix a Concoction, just place 2 or 3 Potions or Splash Potions in a Brewing Stand and place a Phantom Membrane in the ingredient slot



Note that a Phantom Membrane with an Akward Potion still creates a Slow Falling Potion, all vanilla recipes remain unchanged


Configure the Pack

You can configure the pack to your liking, by for example allowing Concoctions to be used in more Concoctions, creating potentially overpowered Potions or making Concoction brewing faster!

For that, type the following into chat (you need op rights):
/function psconco:_/
All functions that show up in the TAB completion menu, can and should be used to configure the pack

Do you think you'll be able to backport this data pack for 1.20.1? I'm attempting to use the datapack but it doesnt seem to be working properly. Running the reload command gives me a few errors as well :/

No, I will not back port this data pack to 1.20.1. It uses features introduced in 1.20.2 and writing it without these would require a rewrite and make the pack more laggy and bigger. If you or someone else wants to rewrite the pack, feel free to do so.

when you place a brewing stand it says "[​marker] summon" in chat, i suppose you used that say command for debugging but forgot to remove it

PaperMC makes it really difficult for data packers, as they remove many vanilla features they rely on.
So I probably won’t make it compatible with Paper servers, sorry but in some circumstances it’s just not possible.
