    - Are you in need of more stuff to catch using your trusty fishing rod?
    Introducing "Fishing" Datapack!
    Features:
    - Added a lot of things for you to fish them out (literally)
    Details: (click to reveal)
    Note: All fishing chances can be improved using Luck Of The Sea enchantment and/or Luck Potions!
    Things you may catch: < click to see >
    - You now have a chance of catching these spawn eggs:
    + Squid Spawn Egg         + Cod Spawn Egg
    + Salmon Spawn Egg        + Pufferfish Spawn Egg
    + Tropical Fish Spawn Egg      + Dolphin Spawn Egg
    + Turtle Spawn Egg
    - You now have a chance of catching Luck Potions!
    - You now have a chance of catching Experience Bottles!
    - Chance of catching corals/coral fans, prismarine stuff,turtle shell,scutes...
    - Chance of getting random sea creatures' heads (not counting the Guardians since it just makes no sense)
    - Chance of getting a crossbow! You might get lucky and get an enchanted one!
    - Chance of getting random banner patterns!
    - Chance of getting wet sponges!


    - Rebalanced Fishing Chances:
    + Chance of getting fish has been lowered (previously 85% now 60%)
    (Purpose: To increase the chance of getting other items!)
    + The chance of getting new items has also been balanced, treasures/valuables has a lower chance to catch than other items...

    - Can be installed in combination with my other datapacks!
    - Can be installed in Multiplayer!

    - You can use /trigger info, then click into the datapack name to know more about the datapack!
    (It only shows you what you can do without cheats enabled!)

    - If you have problems in installing the datapack, try opening the downloaded .zip file, then drag the first thing you see and drop it to the datapacks folder of your world. Works for all my datapacks!
    - Use /function #main:remove and follow the instructions to uninstall the datapack completely!
    - You can also use /function #main:remove, then delete the old version and install the new version, use /reload afterwards to update the datapack.
    - Also, join the Behind The Datapacks Discord Server for more info on the datapack!

    For those who wants to install this datapack in older versions of Minecraft:
    Note: The same datapack that was designed for older Minecraft versions can be found in my submissions list <click the blue letters, find the datapack that has the same name as this one>, but do know this: These features will never be seen in those versions:
    - Crossbow
    - Banner Patterns
    - Wet Sponge
    and some other items...

    a remake for 1.17 would be sweet. A massive 1.17 server would definitely use this backed by a 9000 member community. Hope to, if not we're willing to remake it.

    I would remake this, mainly because fishing to me has never been rewarding with the original settings, but I'm working on something right now that would help me make things alot faster, with a better quality too.

    So I'll come back to these for 1.17 when all the tools are done.

    my friends are seeming to not be able to catch enchanted books/items, were those removed from the game with this?

    Fishing does not "remove" original loot. It adds from that.

    So if you're getting nothing, you must've either installed it wrongly, or you have combined Fishing with another datapack that is conflicting with it.



    Try running it alone and testing it that way first, then combine the other datapacks, then test out Fishing one by one.

    You can skip testing combinations between other [​1.14x] designed datapacks, they would always work well together.



    Another reason this may occur:

    - I designed this for Minecraft 1.14x, so if you're running Fishing on a different version, it would increase the chance of it breaking by itself due to incompatibility, but this is most likely not the case.

    Is there any way to remove the coral from the loot table? I'm absolutely drowning in the stuff man lol

    Can you make it so you can catch treasure maps, monument maps, and woodland maps as lie a rare junk loot table(cause maps are kinda junk in general) or like just normal treasure since they lead to valuable things
