Basically, what this datapack does is stop survival mode players from being able to use spawn eggs on spawners, since a lot of datapacks use spawn eggs given to survival players, which they could then use to get infinite of that spawned mob by right-clicking on any spawner.
What this pack does:
If a player in survival uses a spawn egg on a spawner, the spawner will break and a message will appear telling them why it occurred.
What if I want to use this to stop some spawn eggs from being used, but I want one datapack to still be able to set spawners for survival players?
Great question! I accounted for this, if a player uses a spawn egg with the CanPlaceOn nbt (that stuff used for adventure mode) set to minecraft:spawner, then it won't destroy the spawner when used! So you will need to either fix this yourself, or ask the datapack developer to add this data to their spawn eggs.
How to install:
Simply download the file, and drop it into the datapacks folder of your selected world!
