The Fletching Table has been in the game for years, but has never had a function. The possibilities are there for some really cool things.
Although it's not possible to bring function to the block in Vanilla Minecraft, we can still come up with ideas for it.
In this data pack I decided to bring some of my hypothetical ideas to the game, as always with the goal of keeping things vanilla friendly.
This is my attempt at answering "If the Fletching Table were to work, what kind of things could you do with it?"
Additionally, I wanted to bring some more usage to items that we usually look over, since they are generally unused and not useful.
And that's it! Let me know what you think and any suggestions for the pack in the comments!

NBT changes! v2.1 : by AuraAcorn 12/08/2023 10:33:36 amDec 8th, 2023
This just updates the pack to Minecraft version 1.20.3, which now maintains NBT for arrows automatically, so the retrieval system can be removed.
It also renames a few things that were changed, and is updated to the newest data pack version.
Otherwise, it still works the exact same, no gameplay changes.
