Hero's Journey is a datapack inspired by jack-bagel's End Remastered mod! There are 16 different eyes to collect littered around the world, you will need to gather 12 different ones to open the end portal and go to The End!
The main intention of this datapack is to encourage players to do things they wouldn't normally do in the game, when was the last time you built a turtle sanctuary?
This datapack does have a resourcepack, which adds textures for all 16 eyes! While not required, it is recommended. The resource pack is contained within the datapack itself, just drop the whole zip you download into your game's resource pack folder!
All available eyes and hints to their locations can be found in this datapack's advancements! If you want more detail, check out the wiki!
Compatibility
Hero's Journey IS compatible with any datapack that modifies loot tables. This datapack does not modify any loot tables, and inserts the eyes using other methods to maximise compatibility.
This datapack is also compatible with datapacks that modify the stronghold, such as YUNG's Better Strongholds!
Thanks
Thanks to my partner, Avery for the textures! <3
Also, check out some other packs I've worked on:

Have something to say?
Does the creaking heart have to be naturally generated ? I've broken like 17 and no eyes for now...
- You can basically take a bunch of regular ender eyes and just right click spam the ender portal frame while looking back and forth at other frames, and eventually they'll get filled out regardless of what eye you used
- You can shift-place a block near any frame and it'll spit out it's eye. If it's a custom eye, it'll spit out the regular ender eye
Would really like to see these issues fixed cuz this datapack can reinvent survival as we know it, making you go out and explore instead of just grinding to rush to The End and be done with the world. It has a lot of potential, though I think some chances could be a bit boosted (like curious, ominous, spellbound, queen's eyes etc.), considering you're already halting your progress to The End, and getting some eyes becomes more so a new grinding mechanic than an exploration incentive.
The chances on the more random eyes are based on the number of containers within a given structure, with the goal being that the player should have to go to 2 of each structure, at maximum. I have noticed the curious eye on the wiki said 5%, the actual chance is 50%.
Eyes like the Queen's Eye and Spellbound Eye are so low because they are things the player with do fairly frequently, when actually doing them the drops are somewhat frequent
I am running a server with datapacksx and want to make it comfortable for everyone so that they don't have to install all the textures, but this message always pops up.
Edit: Btw, so far I enjoyed both features and can't wait to see more fantastic projects.
