Haul is a datapack that lets the player pick up and move chests and barrels! Simply stand next to the chest or barrel with an empty mainhand and offhand, sneak, and right click! The block will disappear and will be placed into your inventory. You can then place it back down wherever you want!

Having a chest or barrel in your inventory will give you slowness, they're heavy! Trying to carry more than one will stop you from moving or jumping altogether.

For some reason when I pick up a chest or barrel it doesn't give me the slowness effect and when I place it down there appears a text on top of the container that reads "Filled Chest" or "Filled Barrel" as if it has a nametag, why is that?

The lack of a slowness effect is interesting, this having a filled chest in your inventory changes your attributes so there shouldn't be much issue

The second bit sounds like a conflict with another mod/datapack though, do you have something installed that adds nametags to shulkers?

Not really but I do have an extensive list of mods and datapacks that I use, so I guess conflicts are inevitable. Maybe it's graves dp from vanilla tweaks or Named Mob Death Messages, these are the only ones that come to mind that have to do with nametags.

It's definitely not graves, I've tested it with that one before

Never heard of "Named Mob Death Messages" though, so it's possible
