I made this datapack to counteract default beacon regeneration being practically useless, due to a bug that Mojang has refused to fix since beacons were added, having to do with the effect being reapplied constantly and canceling the regen. Default Minecraft beacon regeneration is slow.

Installation:
Put the BeaconRegen2.zip in your Minecraft worlds datapack folder, do NOT unzip it.

Usage:
Choose any primary effect with regeneration as your secondary effect on a level 4 beacon, then crouch while standing on top of the beacon.
This will remove the primary effect and give you a regeneration 2 beacon.

I dont think thats a bug. Beacons giving permanent regen is already OP enough

it is a bug, reapplying regeneration every 4 seconds cuts the effectiveness by 2/3 which is what beacons do and it was reported on the bug tracker 10 years ago

Well like I said its already OP, and that "bug" helps to keep it balanced, so I hope they dont "fix" it.

Its for such a limited distance, How is that "OP"? If your spending that much to obtain it in the first place, for a extremely limited area. Seems just, if anything.
