This pack adds amethyst powered spell bags that can unleash helpful and devastating spells. There are three tiers of spells, basic, intermediate, and master, as well as scaling spells that come in multiple tiers
Crafting:
The spells in this pack don't have individual recipes. Instead, you combine leather with one, two, or four amethyst shards to get a random spell. When you use only one shard, you can only get basic spells. If you use two, you can get intermediate, and four can get you master. There is also a small chance of getting a second basic spell. Spells consume amethyst, so make sure you have some on you, or else it won't work.
Basic Spells: Consume one shard per use
- Illuminate: Places a temporary light
- Munch: Restores hunger and saturation
- Glide: Gives slow falling for 15 seconds
- Float: Gives extreme levitation for a few seconds
- Shop: Gives an emerald
- Splash: Places water at your feet
- Ignite: Lights blocks you are looking at on fire
- Tag: Gives you a name tag with the name "Igor"
- Steady: Allows you to take no knockback for a brief period
- Trick: Places a pumpkin on the head of your target, blinding them. Doesn't work on those wearing helmets
- Bridge: Places oak leaves that decay below you for three seconds. Use the spell while it is going on to extend it.
- Reveal: Reveals whatever entity you are looking at through blocks
- Magician: Places down a rabbit and makes you invisible
- Identify: Gives the head of target player or the owner of target pet. Only works when that player is online
- Grace: Gives temporary dolphin's grace
Intermediate Spells: Consume two shards per use
- XP: Grants 3 bottles worth of XP
- Strength: Grants Strength for 60 seconds
- Blocks: Gives some random, common blocks
- Fireball: Launches a fireball in the direction you are looking
- Bolt: Launches a bolt in the direction you are looking
- Root: Freezes enemies in place for 10 seconds
- Magic Shield: Temporarily blocks you from negative effects, including the Damage spells
- Ram: Launches a battering ram in a cardinal direction that explodes when it hits a block.
- Feed: Heals all of your nearby pets to full health
- Maul: Deals lots of short range damage and causes mob to drop double loot. Doesn't work on Withers
Master Spells: Consume four shards per use
- Aggro: Gives you 60 seconds of invisibility and draws aggression of nearby mobs to an armor stand nearby.
- Creeper: Hurls a lit creeper in the direction you are looking
- Lava: Places lava where you are looking and gives you fire resistance
- Trebuchet: Launches a straight projectile with a small explosion but the ability to spread fire
- Bear: Angers the nearest polar bear at target. Summons a new bear if no bear is present
Scaling Spells: Shards required based on level
- Damage I, II, and III: Damages mobs in a straight path. Higher levels add damage and range. Ignores armor.
- Propel I and II: Launches you into the air. Higher levels launch you farther. Deals damage to nearby mobs.
- Swarm I, II, and III: Summons 1, 3, or 5 bees all angry at target. Swarm bees do not lose their stinger.
- Care I and II: Gives 2-4 armor points to all your nearby pets, permanently, once. Can stack with other levels.
Right click to activate a spell. Spells work in either the main hand or the off hand, which means you can duel wield them along with a sword or an axe. This pack will be expanded, so let me know what ideas you have in the comments below.

Fixed some bugs and issues
Major:
- Changed bridge to use oak leaves instead of cobbled deepslate. Less overpowered as a building tool.
- You can now get a second spell bag from nearly all crafts. Actually works this time
- Adjusted rates for Master craft so it yields less basic spells, and more master ones. Now costs 8 shards
Minor:
- Boosted the power of the Trebuchet spell
- Fixed illuminate not working
- Fixed bolt curving
- Magic shield has less particles in first person
- Fixed "blocks" spell not having a name
Major:

I managed to fix it and I don't remember what the problem was,
If there was such a problem it was on my part and not the datapack,
sorry again.
first of all feed doesent have a name on the item and is broken
trebuche aiming is broken
bear does not aggro
and bolt aims a bit higher than the cursor
edit:
maul doesent seem to work either
edit 2: no maul works im just dumb
edit 3:Bear spell just summons a bear every time it doesent agrro
edit 4:trebutchet is broken fireball goes in weird direction
feed is broken too
