Ratings and Feedback Appreciated
If your going to use this on a public or busy server I recommend editing some of the messages,
To change the messages themselves, navigate in the data/rmt/functions/join.mcfunction file and edit the text in between the brackets.
Example:
{"text":"Change this to your message","color":"gold"}
There are notes in the datapack .mcf files on how to add more messages
5 Commands, /trigger <motd-stopmusic-rfx-loginmusic-loginrfx>
motd: sends the player a random message
stopmusic: stops the music that plays.
rfx: Turn on Infinte Effects for yourself.
loginmusic: Toggle wether Music plays on login
loginrfx: Toggle Whether Effects play at login.

Seems like I can only turn them off for myself
also 6.1 is split into 2 parts, grab this file "MOTDRecord v1.3.zip" from the github if you wish to keep the music/visual effects.
/execute as @a run trigger rfxOFF
If you want to manually disable the effects per player or for an offline player, do
/scoreboard players set "playername" rfxOFF 1
In either the next update or the one after that I will set it so that it is off by default.
glad you enjoy!
its the little things in minecraft that make it what it is lol,
when i load my server list i get at least 3 random messages, not to mention mc's built in splashes... i needed a vanilla version.
