So for my 7 year anniversary, I decided I’d try to launch a skinning event of my own. This one comes with its own twist however, as you’re not here solely for a contest of ability...
Your entries will instead be put through a simulator to crown a new champion!
Basically you can be of any skill level and have a good time, jageddit?
Article for the uninitiated. In essence, the BrantSteele HG sim is a web-based sim that lets you set up a custom roster of characters, then simulate the results. For our purposes, we’ll use the HG sim to find the Last Skin Standing amongst a roster of themed skins.

Set-Up
So here's the gist of this event:
The HG sim has 3 sizes - 24, 36 or 48 slots
Hence I will accept a maximum of 48 entries. Come the HG itself, we’ll use the next lowest HG size, i.e.:

You participation as a skinner basically goes as far as submitting your entry:

Basically I've set a theme, and all skins must relate to that theme.
II. Scoring Phase - approx 1 Week
Here's the part where Katniss takes aim at the Gamemakers
Y’all remember how they had parades and gave them scores after training sessions? You too will get scores!
Scores will have no bearing on the HG outcome - You can brag about them, and first place may get some acknowledgement, but that's about it
Your entries will be randomly allocated into districts - to my knowledge, districts do not determine alliances in the HG sim.
The HG sim will determine a day-by-day sequence of events and crown a winner.
There can be no second or third place. There is only one winner - the last skin standing*.
*if a bot wins, the last non-bot killed will be declared the winner
Results will be released according to the poll.
There are two options:

- Skinners make a skin matching the theme (below)
- The names of these skins will be used in the BrantSteele HG simulator
- Before the sim, I will assign each skin a score (has no bearing on the simulation)
- The simulator will randomly generate a series of events where the skins do battle
- The last skin standing will be declaered our winner

- Reaping will last two weeks
- There are at most 48 entries
- Any submitted entry may be edited until deadline
- Entries must adhere to the theme

- If the theme were 'ducks', we'd be seeing a bunch of ducks take part in a violent Hunger Game.
- For the theme of 'something to fight Thanos', we're gonna see a bunch of Thanos fighters take part in a violent Hunger Game

Rules for Entries
This clearly ain’t the most serious contest out there, but we need standards yo- All regular PMC submission rules apply
- Each entry must be made by you
- One entry per person
- Entry must match theme with minimal descriptiom
- No low effort/half baked entries e.g. low_effort_example.jpeg
- Any submitted entry may be edited until deadline
- Seeking feedback from Auri prior to the deadline is totes acceptable - not a high stakes contest after all
How to Enter
Entering is ez pz- No sign-ups - enter by uploading a skin to PMC and linking it in the thread
- Please link to this contest in the description : )
- If your entry is accepted, I’ll add it to the list
- NEW: include a lore name/nickname/alias somewhere (title or description) for your character (I won't DQ you if you don't have one, but it'd really help the simulation <3)
Woah we’re in the Endgame? But we’ve only just started!
The Avengers are assembling a team to take on Thanos one last time and have one more spot to fill for a battle-ready hero. Seeing as losing half the universe wasn’t enough, the Avengers see fit to select their next mightiest hero in... a free-for-all deathmatch.
The Theme: Create a skin of someone/something that is ready to fight Thanos.
- Don’t submit any regular ol' John Does, mmkay, show me something extraordinary!
- Characters can be original (something you made-up) or established (something that already existed)
- You can be meme-y or serious, just make sure they're ready to fight Thanos
For the judging phase, thematic rating as follows:
