Who's been on the edge of their seats just waiting to see what we have planned for PMC's 10 year anniversary?! The wait is finally over, and we're revealing what we have in store for everyone! Well, most of it anyway. We're keeping a few things secret because surprises are SO much fun!

Planet Minecraft launched on November 8th, 2010. Over the past 10 years, the community has grown up playing Minecraft while sharing their creative content and making short and long term friends.
Members join from over 180 countries, some come and go, some stay, and find a home within our online community. Some members even find their life long partners or establish careers with skills honed by playing or customizing the game. The diversity of members and paths they follow is hard to comprehend.
Overall, PlanetMinecraft.com has become more than just a simple gaming website to its members and visitors. We're celebrating the 10-year journey by looking back at our history, recognizing the members around us, and imagining what the future will bring.

Check out the Hall of Fame, Community Content, and stop by Dinow’s Cookies or the Bakery for a tasty treat! Several other fun secrets CaraRose’s Chest Quest Reveal* This multi-step quest created by CaraRose will have you scouring profiles for hints, and searching for hidden clues on the museum server! | 12 PM - 4 PM EST | Meet on Hypixel for games -Rae- deactivated and A1yssa will be leading the mini-games on Hypixel! There will be 2 groups every hour, except for the first hour! So if you get on Hypixel and all of the groups are filled, try again in the next hour. If you’ve played mini-games for an hour, please hop off and let others have the opportunity to play! |

announcement I've never played on a server, how do I do that?
Copy the server ID to your clipboard (Ctrl + C for Windows/Linux and ⌘ Cmd + C for macOS). You can skip this step and just type the address in if you prefer!
The IP address is often a number displayed next to the name of it, or a domain. In this case, it is play.planetminecraft.com
Start Minecraft, click Multiplayer, and click Add Server.
There should be two boxes, Server Name and IP Address. The server name does not matter a bit.
Now press Ctrl + V (Windows/Linux) or ⌘ Cmd + V (macOS) in the Server Address box, or simply type it in!
Confirm your entries by clicking done.
You will be taken back to the server list. The server should appear on it with green bars on the right.
Click the server, click Join Server. Normally, you will be brought directly into the server.

You'll have to be on the server at the given time. We will release the server IP on the day of the celebrations
is it on java 1.16.3?? and how do you join servers in java edition?
