Welcome to the "Ultraviolet" skin contest! I first did a poll to decide this theme 5 months ago (I wanted to save it for a milestone) and I recently got 300 subscribers (thank you all so much <3)!

For this contest, you need to make a skin that is inspired or influenced by the colour purple! Make and upload your most purple-tastic skins. This contest doesn't have a limited palette, you can use non purple shades too, but purple is the theme so don't forget to use it a little!

If there's not enough entries, the prizes may be lowered to only first and second place, or the deadline may be pushed back!

Rules
:♥~ The deadline is March 25th (this gives you almost two months to make your skin!)
♥~ Entries must be usable player skins (no mob skins or custom models) They can be any resolution.
♥~ Follow all PMC rules
♥~ Skins can be updated at any time until the deadline
♥~ No harassing other participants or judges
♥~ No stealing, copying, remaking or using bases for this contest (even if they're your own) Skins must be made for this contest, any entries made before will be disqualified.
♥~ One entry per person, and no collab skins. Skins must be made by you and only you!

Judging criteria!

Creativity : How unique the skin is compared to other entries, how much does it stand out and how well is that done.

Technique : How well is the skin shaded, does shading fall logically and how noticeable is it

Purple-ness : How well does it adhere to the theme "Purple", does the perception of the theme translate onto the skin well.

Palette : How does the palette work together, do the colours blend or stand out.


For each criteria, you get a score out of 10. Points will be listed next to the entry after judging is complete (unless you ask me not to when you enter). I like letting people know the score out of 40 purely so they know why their skin scored where it did, and to help prove lack of bias.
