Hydro dad plz

After many years of starting and putting down, I've finally decided to play Modern Minecraft (current version 1.20.2) and have thoughts. Might make a blog post about it, have found diamonds in my roughly couple hours of gameplay already, an ametheyst Geode, and my first dungeon.

Will wait until I've pretty much done all the things (ED, Wither, Warden, Elytra) before I give any serious thoughts given my nearly 10k hours of Alpha Minecraft.

Taking a break from carving continents to collect some stuff and maybe find the things I still need for my museum.

So far, found two more dungeons. One was right next to the other. Got more pumpkins, roses, and dandilions for a Halloween-themed project I might do.

Any ideas for alpha builds?

Semi-long post ahead about my inactivity on PMC:
I feel like I should say "sorry for the inactivity!" or something, but that would really just keep the current spiral going, so this post will be my attempt to break it.

I think I've made it clear that I will always prioritize my studies above everything else, but that doesn't really justify, that I made a jam and promised that I would upload some stuff etc. And then quit the jam I made, never posted and went silent. Its like inviting people to your birthday party, and being the only one who didn't show up. Can that be justified? No, not really as it really comes down to a matter of 'can you keep the promises you made?', and when it comes to PlanetMinecraft, I can't, so I will stop making promises on PMC

I've had in my mind, that I should make a post saying "Thank you for 1.000 subscribers!" – yet typing or saying it feels completely empty to me; i feel more excited making a grocery list. I appreciate that people like the content that has been posted on the Stubbs1 profile, but please note my wording here: "On the Stubbs1 profile", instead of saying "My profile". While it may seem a bit meta, saying "Stubbs1 is just a profile, a character" while literally being on set profile, and in set character, this equally is why I feel nothing, no regret or responsibility, when I leave without saying anything, mere days after making a jam to celebrate hitting 1.000 subscribers.

The essence of this post is that, the Stubbs1 PMC profile is like an aesthetic to me; its the guitar that you see in every 2016 emo teen room, its in the corner all dusty, horribly maintained and the person who owns it doesn't care to learn or pick up the guitar; it simply exists at the mercy of the environment, only being picked up occasionally when a random burst of illusionary motivation appears, because they saw someone who they like play guitar. There is no spark, there is no interest; the only interest present, is the interest of others.

Back on my world for a bit to do some random building with materials in ways I rarely create. Nice two level barn thing with double double doors. Found more diamonds, should try to get the two discs I need for my museum.
