Hey everyone! The latest update (Beta 2.5a) that's Early Access for Emerald, Lapis, and Netherite is out now! With one new beautiful sky added to The End and some other small tweaks.

In these preview images you can see an outlook of the sky and what it looks like. Rather than purple like the main End sky, it is a green nebula. Quite the contrast to the purple End sky, but I am going to go crazy with diversity on these!

I really hope you guys enjoyed this little preview as I work on the pack and these new End skies! Any feedback is highly appreciated and will be taken into account with these coming skies. I have a few ideas in mind but I don't want to spoil anything!

Hey everyone! Wanted to let you all know that the early access versions of both the 256x and 512x beta (1.4a) are out now for Emerald Tier and up! Emerald and above get early access to all texture pack builds and betas, but I still want to share with everyone what has been added and changed! These will be available down the road for Diamond and up!

Hey everyone! The latest update (Beta 2.4) is out now for Gold and up! This is honestly a massive update. Huge overhaul of a ton of things, tweaks to others, new skies, and more! Once again, thank you so much to UsernameGeri for such an amazing set of tweaks, updates, etc. They are an amazing asset to this community and I am forever grateful to them!

Let's get into the changelog:
- Complete overhaul of config files, fixing all bugs and inconsistencies

- Full feature pairity between OptiFine and FabricSkyboxes

- Fixed all of the stretched and wonky textures

- Updated Moon texture to make the dark side of it slightly visible

- Sunrises will now have the appropriate skyboxes

- Added sunflare to sunsets and sunrises

- Sunsets and sunrises in the textures will now properly line up with the in-game sun

- Stars will no longer be visible below the horizon line

- Stars will no longer be visible through the high altitude clouds

- Stars will no longer be visible through the Moon

- Stars will now be visible at max build height

- Color correction to high altitude night time sky, to make it appear more night-time-ish

As you can see, a ton, and I mean A TON of fixes. Anything from small seams, odd texture stretches, to texture axis positions. Sunrises and sunsets now have proper positioning for where the sun will be when it rises and sets, tweaks to the stars to be more realistic, etc. Not to mention a complete config and directory overhaul.

Hey guys! Happy to let you all know the latest version of Clear Skys is out now! This update has a lot of bug fixes and tweaks, thanks to the work of UsernameGeri! If you're using an old version of the pack I highly suggest you update to this one for the best experience!

Changelog:
- Supports all OptiFine versions (mcpathcer)

- Full pairity between OptiFine and FabricSkyboxes (animated aurora)

- Updated Moon texture to make the dark side of it slightly visible

- Sunrise will now have the appropriate texture

I've answered for myself below, but "let's start one of those trends"!

Revealing that 1.21 will have 20 paintings and not 5 is huge for pack makers, since we have so much more space to put the paintings we want! At the same time, Zetterstrand is awesome and it's nice to have another fragment of old Minecraft coming in. Do you have nostalgia for the paintings? Share your own Minecraft painting experience!

I'd ask about the new ones but I haven't been able to properly take a look at Zetterstrand's since 5 of them are only visible in a Short or behind text on his blog. We'll likely see them tomorrow for the snapshot.

It's funny because I've been having a dilemma with the new paintings on how to treat them for PADX (I'm almost definitely not touching them anyways), and I just checked the website and wiki for the paintings a few hours ago.

Does that mean Boeving made the wither one so many years ago? (Edit: No, it was Jeb, and the wiki puts that in a weird table entry)

Also it's stupid that he has 15 (shellshock) for the 15th anniversary but they look soooo good and he definitely has a lot of works to catch up on... at least I know this is unlikely to repeat if it is for the anniversary (they admitted it's hard to get the variation you want now)

EDIT: Also, the blog says we'll have 51 paintings even though that brings the total to 46 (or 50 with the elements). General typo, or another tease..?

Been listening to the new soundtrack, and it's certainly given me different feelings in comparison to the last update. I was trying to figure out where to put songs for Music Re-Cued, but I'll have to wait to see where they put it because I feel like there's so much music that's starting to have an amount of variety that might require more splits or changes to how I approach the pack. Stay tuned!
