    The unknown is a fascinating entity: On one hand it's the greatest fascination of all, something that you want to discover and figure out. On the other hand, it's also the entity that scares one the most.

    I often say this, and I believe it holds true in most given scenarios, but I want to apply it to a common topic on pmc and in regards to pmc skinmaking specificially: Skin styles and changing them.

    Skin styles stagnate as one grows afraid of change; change being the unknown variable of the equation. "What will my followers think?", "Will my new ideas be better?" are common worries: These are natural to worry about. However, the answer will only be given by your own fascination to find out the answer to those questions, and you do that by trying it out. Usually other people are as interesting in experimentation and new ideas as you are, so by any means, going for it is a great idea.

    This leads to a second situation: Don't get stuck in something you don't want to do in regards to skinning on pmc just to please others. You're spending your free time doing this, have fun with it. As soon as the fun of it is gone, you lose out on a lot. Make sure you always have fun with your hobbies lads, and if you want to try something new, don't hold back, discovering the unknown is the greatest source of fascination and awe!

    some people do, it's just that not everyone can make a skin in single go, sometimes skins are made of a longer period of time, & people.

    Just make sure that this event of HD skins being opened to be released doesn't result in every skinner being bombarded with questions to make them, regular skin requests are enough as is. HD skins take long to make, I am a fast skinmaker, and a detailed HD skin takes me up to 4 hours: I know it's exciting to see, but understand that they do take a lot of time, which can be incredibly draining. Don't let the existence of HD skins degrade what regular resolution skins are either: HD skins are cool, this does not mean regular resolution can't be too. Just something to keep in mind.

    Something always come to my mind when I keep looking at my skins. That causes me to think that my skins aren't perfect as it looks n struggling to find the flaws on it. It's slowing me down to make any new skin as well.

    Being a PMC member for 5 years, I'm kinda off tracked from my local(HK) Minecraft community which makes me curious of what happens in the MCHK community right now and all I see from there is just disappointment.

    The skin community has only a few feed, there are barely anyone talks about skins and no joke it's not more than 10 feeds. I don't see there are much people share their experience on skinning n etc. They just share their own skins and videos which is boring as hell. Unlike PMC, we skinner would do collabs and stuffs and it is much more interesting. I can't believe that website has 9 years of history and it's still a small commu
