New forum post, new poll, continuation of the jam-making saga!

Will this jam be my best one to date? Who knows? I do think I have learned some things about the art of jam making! Maybe procrastinating on that jam-making guide is a good thing, I am having more time to learn all The Ways of The Jam.

I am confused as to why nobody wants me to make reshade jams! Surely it is all you secretly want? Surely... but no.

I mean to be fair, the colouring in jam is far more interesting of an idea. I really want to do one of those some time.

Anyway. I've got to go make a judging application form. And not be a dirty-dirty procrastinator. *Deep sigh*

Anyone read or watched Jujutsu Kaisen? I'm about to start reading fanfiction for it without having done either (as is my way lol) and I just wonder how complicated the plot is gonna be, and how hard it's going to be to pick it apart.

From my... filtered ace friendly list, I can see that a lot of the fics seem to be boys finding out that they want to kiss each other.

But I mean... Ao3 I'm 0% surprised. All that basically does is assure me that the protagonist is probably a boy. And they have a best friend/redeemable nemesis that is also a boy.

Well Eremite did this, so I my as well do the same. Buckle up folks, it's Eloise the Strange idea maker extraordinaire! Also don't mind my naming conventions, some of these are like novels in the work- I can't go giving you a plot synopsis!
1. Distilled Protagonist Energy™ and his motley crew that includes, a pair of twins, one of which is a philosopher the other a punching bag, fire girl, blond not-jack-frost, I’m too old for this, and like five other weirdos. Half of which were serving the mr.evil ten minutes ago.
2. That magical boy story were the main magical boy isn’t actually a proper magical boy. Oh and he’s also spending half his time as the villain.
3. Panmnesia sucks, especially when you are over a thousand years old and your job is to fight and die over and over. Luckily friendship is magic, and fatherhood changes people.
4. *pauses for a long long moment* Epic Fantasy Defies Small Summary x7
5. Fatherhood Changes People 2.0 + Don’t let the Thing That Destroys All Things possess the punching bag. Wait- oops too late.
6. The gods are trying to kill everyone, but they aren’t evil, but they also act like villains half the time. Time travel???
7. I don’t need a weapon, I can just kick this rock here, and through the laws of chance my problems will be solved! Also Death is trying to turn me into a god, what is my life?
8. Somehow it’s not a dystopia, kids being trained to fight in something called the simulation room, and it’s fluffy and then devolves into high fantasy.
9. What if the magic drove you crazy and you could like plaster your brain about and make the rocks think? Oh and teenage angst.
10. Found family, but like the parents are both considerably eldritch. And some not insignificant percentage of the children are murderous.
No. I couldn't have just explained it strait. Also this like probably isn't all the stories (actually no it defiantly isn't) and uh one of those is like my equivalent to the Stormlight archive? I dunno, have fun guessing what these stories are actually about, in like normal-people speak.

Do I read another 100k+ word Naruto fanfic or do I settle in and try to do some work? That is the question.

On one hand, this is my one time were my brain finally switches off (or at least occupies itself entirely with something that doesn't require it's input), and I actually take a break. Also I might be kinda out of it, because reading does weird things to me.

But on the other hand. Work. Doing things of Great Importance.

Aoife did not like this place. It was cold, breezy, the sun shone bright but not bright enough to roast the water from the earth. There was hideous green covering everything, even going so far as to creep up the sides of the stone buildings, and sprout obnoxiously coloured flowers.

She supposed she shouldn’t be too surprised. Everything she had heard about Anna, ‘the witch of the mill’ made her think this would be her exact paradise. Pretty and peaceful. How quaint and utterly disgusting.

Aoife looked forward to the day that she could see it all burnt to the ground.

She masked those feelings of course, as was the norm. It would rather break her cover if she started declaring her plans of wreaking destruction, even if this place made her wish to transform and take care of the good work herself. She had spent far too long establishing that precious cover to ruin it over such a pathetic place.

It was still a highly entertaining idea.

Hi Cherry_s1lence! I um wrote fanfiction. Not very much because for some reason this is bending my mind in weird directions? But I did some stuff!

Mostly me thinking about why totally-not-a-dragon lady would want to burn everything down. And so... me write.

Does anyone else get bothered by the fact that outer layer on the top of the torso shows in front of the face in the PMC preview?

Oh they aren't head cannons :3 It's like a fun way for me to explore the characters and potential plot and worldbuilding. See I write Epic Fantasy and it takes quite a while to pull together a story like mine because there is so much going on! So many moving parts, and also quite a few characters, and developing them takes a long time...

But since it's fanfiction... for something that does not exist... it means you are both the author of the idea for the fanfiction and the anime that does not exist... meaning it can never be fanfiction as you as the brain behind both ideas, control the narrative of both... so in a way... that fanfiction would just be itself a story based on a story from the story... meaning it isn't fanfiction but actually just fiction... as there are no fans for something which itself does not exist outside the author's mind...

Eloise please make this stop... I feel like I'm ascending to a new plane of existance and all that exists there are ancient greek philosophers!
