This is why fighting for our environment and holding governments and those in authority accountable is very very very important.
Also, in order to not lose my marbles completely, I'm pretending that the person who called it a 'strategic retreat' is being sarcastic. I would really hope it's sarcasm.
I would like to also slap this in the face of every person who has told me or said in general that global warming isn't real and the signs were fake. I've literally talked about global warming since I was a child and every time something out of the ordinary happened or wasn't supposed to happen, I called it. That one irl ADULT guy who acted like the polar bears actively being shown dying in their receding environment was fake, when I brought up global warming, still pisses me off today.

I'm not bringing any of this up as a doomsday thing, there is still time as it says in the article, we just need to push harder and against governments and people who refuse to do anything about it.
Because you can't be telling me that I wasn't recycling enough when corporations favorite past times include dumping trash and gunk into our waters and environments and just wrecking the environment in general.

Esper fur update:
Today I got a chance to touch his fur and it is smooth as I suspected. He also revealled me his fluffy tummy when I played with him. He still has issues, but there is progress

I had twins where one has smooth and the other had coarse coat.

I uploaded my old commissioned skin. I did this commission a long while ago, and thought to post it since I didn't have much else to do. It was also for 𝐅𝐥𝐚𝐧 (@Blan_Fi on twitter) and it was of a character called blighted ovum, from "The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth", what do you think?

Today, I had a dream about Pussy(the second time). It was interesting, as I was telling him how much I miss him. It took me a year to get over him, which is fast, but subconciosly I still miss him. I guess it is likely because a meltdown that I had yesterday over a thing. Last time, I was worried about a thing and he appeared too.
His sister appeared more times, even my last of the previous order had an appearance some time ago. Weird, how many dead cats appear in my dreams so recent.

Hey guys.

I know everyone's stressed out right now and I wanted to add my two cents in.

I've seen people talking about issues happening in a PMC server and while a butt-ton of people have been panicking, I have not seen anyone say anything about contacting the owner/mods of said server about the problems/reporting what happened. That should be the first thing you should do.
If you are the victim/s of the incident and you feel you are able to, report what happened to the person in charge of the server and/or mods of the server.
If the person in charge of the server does nothing, report the server and the person in charge of the server to PMC.
In fact, if you need to, just report everything that happened to PMC mods. I've seen at least one mod say that you're encouraged to report something even if you're not sure if it breaks the rules (something that they've said multiple times before too).
Do remember to add as much proof as you can of what happened and the more people/witnesses that add in what they saw/witnessed, the better to help piece everything together. So if you know something, report it as well.
Report and block those who caused harm. I don't see enough people doing that or even telling/encouraging others to do so (thank ya to those who do).

Now, if you aren't able to do any of those, take a deep breath, do something relaxing, and take a break from PMC for a while. Everyone will be here waiting for you and it will return to normal. It's okay to be angry or upset or sad or scared or however you're feeling. Take care of yourself for a while. And please try not to take it out on others, more specifically and especially those who didn't do anything wrong.

Now for my second cent. Drama does not happen very often here on PMC. When it does happen often (for a small period of time), it's usually a sign that something wasn't taken care of well and/or everyone's stressed out about it/something (or stress has been building up over time because no one is taking breaks >:( ). Drama on PMC does not mean the community is hateful or bad or terrible or that we're all assholes just because of one or two or even a small handful of bad actors. Generalizing the whole community is harmful and only stresses everyone out even more.

And please, for the love of everything, STOP comparing PMC to Twitter. Twitter is a hellhole owned by a Nazi and is constantly pushing drama, bots, slur-spewing hateful people out front -the exact opposite of PMC. PMC is one of the best moderated safehaven communities I have ever been apart of, it's not good all the time, but it's a good place on the Internet. Everyone has a bad day or even a couple or few days and so does PMC and there's nothing wrong with that. Like I said above, take a break and take care of yourself and learn better ways to cope with drama.

Oh yeah, did anyone else get that pop up randomly? I completely forgot to say something but I clicked a 'show more' button on a post I was trying to look at and a captcha-esque site popped up (like a whole ass website loaded in) and asked me to check if I was a robot because of my busy network activity or something and then showed me a link that said 'click here' or something and i was like "naw, this is something wrong" and went back to reload the page and retried looking at the full post and it worked again.
Idk wtf happened tho 😭

What happend.
- So a while ago the server shutdown un-gloriously due to a power surge and outage, that killed cables and the server,
[​and other stuff like my microphone apparently (oof)].

I have now recovered it and am trying to do some investigations on it. So far it seems working, and without any other incident recorded, but still checking.
A world download coming soon.

- Recovery and continuation is possible.
- Tbf, im unsure, if i want to bring it back online. I definitly need better backup, notification and analytic methods..

-- 1: demand? Do you want to continue ? Ive been severly inactive in mc regards, hence public knowledge and interesst will be very dampend for i believe. + if no one cares then i dont want to sink to much time into it.
-- 2: I am severly concerned, especially in regards to security. I have already put substantial efforts in sand boxing, isolation and separation across systems, networks and co - but theres only so much i can do - and im no enterprise nor 50y tech wizzard.

Like im truly nervous to host something publicly, when these ai giants, let their LLMs ravage across the internet un-monitored. Not even to mention the automated attacks people themself are releasing onto the web.. for like "active" monitoring and defense i lack the knowledge/wisdom and time, basically the premis in the worst case: get blasted, clear and rebuild from last backup.. not really the incident i strive for. Not even to speak about the possibilities of ddos attacks that after all these years are still a thing accross the mc community, just wth.. (recently: tubbo's hoster incident)

OpenAI, Anthropic and co have had multiple incidents where their ai's have breached websites, forums, wikis, and government infrastructure over months without either the firms or the ai-companies noticing. And i dont intent to be one of their, or some dudes clawd bots, victim.
