Greetings sailor. Welcome on board!

My name is Kasius and I'm just one of a handful of shipbuilders on a German roleplay server. Here I would like to introduce some of my ships.

I try to share my historical knowledge of some types of ships with you as best as I can. Sometimes in a little worse English and better German.

I have mainly specialized in ship types from the Medieval Ages and I will introduce some more well-known and also less well-known ships, but I may also show some port facilities. My goal is to list a wide range of ship types and their characteristics.

I try to build as realistically as possible and do a lot of research for this. However, it should be said that I do not build the ships 1: 1 directly, as
this means that many of the detailed work cannot be carried out in Minecraft. Therefore I use a conversion factor of 0.8. In other words, one block measures 0.8 meters to me.

If you like what I build, I am happy about everyone who shows it to me.

Since I also make my ships available for download, it is extremely important to me that you also name me as the author, if you should recreate the ships on other servers. You can also tell me where you use my ships, maybe I can mention it :)

In any case, I am very curious to see in which ports my ships will be anchored :)

Sei gegrüßt Seemann. Willkommen an Bord!

Mein Name ist Kasius und ich bin lediglich nur einer von einer Hand voll Schiffsbauer auf einem deutschen Roleplay Server. Hier möchte ich einige meiner Schiffe vorstellen.

Dabei versuche ich nach bester Möglichkeit mein historisches Wissen über einige Schiffstypen mit euch zu teilen. Mal in etwas schlechterem Englisch und besserem Deutsch.

Ich habe mich hauptsächlich auf Schiffstypen des Mittelalters spezialisiert und werde einige bekanntere und auch unbekanntere Schiffe vorstellen, werde aber vielleicht auch einige Hafenanlagen zeigen. Mein Ziel ist es ein breites Spektrum an Schiffstypen und deren Merkmalen aufzuführen.

Dabei versuche ich so realistisch wie möglich zu bauen und betreibe hierfür eine Menge an Recherche. Allerdings sei gesagt, dass ich die Schiffe nicht direkt 1:1 baue, da dadurch viele der Detailarbeiten in Minecraft nicht umsetzbar sind. Daher nutze ich einen Umrechnungsfaktor von 0,8. In anderen Worten, ein Block misst 0,8 Meter.

Da ich meine Schiffe auch zum Download bereitstelle, ist es mir äußerst wichtig, dass ihr mich bitte auch als Autor nennt, solltet ihr die Schiffe auf anderen Servern nachbauen. Teilt mir gerne mit, wo ihr meine Schiffe nutzt, damit ich es vielleicht erwähnen kann :)

Auf jeden Fall bin ich sehr gespannt, in welchen Häfen meine Schiffe vor Anker liegen werden :)
