but realizing that your weather app is tracking you, to sell your location data, is certainly a bar i do snap' at.


Working on more minecraft stuff again today and then spend the afternoon inspecting and yeeting apps of my phone.
Found this open source attempt at a ios and android weather app, https://ossweather.akylas.fr/ OSS Weather and on Linux i found: "Mousam" which is very nice

This is like a super lowball and harmless example, but..

i swear researching for projects and trying to find authentic and real references gets like.. harder and harder every year. When google and co are just flooded with 10 altered versions + ai recreations of a real place. So frustrating, like having to analyse every image if its real or not...

inactive, sorry, i doubt anyone even remembers me. i don't want to make resource packs anymore. I don't want to make maps. I have a lot of unfinished projects. I have one map, about escape rooms which is really cool in my opinion, because i worked really hard on it, it's all vanilla. But i'm too lazy to make a whole ass page for these things. Even if they are unfinished, i suppose anyone can finish these ideas. I always try to do more than i actually can, that's why i always lose interest in making these resource packs. That's why most of my projects are small. Believe me, i want more but i can't. I know really talented people here, i wish the best for everyone. It will take a miracle for me to be back, but i'm a nobody in this website, so i don't even know why i'm saying this. I just had good memories.

so what did i do this whole summer? i am starting a graphic novel (fancy words for comic book). It's going to be a huge story. I don't wanna spoil at all, i can only say it will be a space western, action, mystery. I've been doing lots of story writing and worldbuilding, this takes a lot of time to just sit, think and think for hours, while writing down anything good, filling in plot holes etc. This time i will not fail myself. I will make a page on instagram and post my progress. I'm almost at starting the actual pages. I've done lots of character designs. Nature, animals, robots. And no... it's not going to be a webtoon. It could sell it as an actual book, but i guess i can also publish it online every page like an online book. What's the difference between a webtoon and this online book? Webtoon is for scrolling on a phone. What i will do is post the pages for anyone who i can't sell it to, that means almost everybody. I'm only 15 and don't know much about selling books out of my country but i guess i will figure it out over time.

-They are insecure( with unpatched 0Day & RCE's), botnet enabling, data scrapers, analyzing you, your network, your surroundings, your neighbors. Nothing is save. And neither is the data it captures, because they store it all in LOGS and send off. To a firm LG doesnt even fully control.

You can have EVERYTHING denied. And they still profile you. May they crash and burn and get sued to hell.


This is not LG only - samsung, hisense, tcl, sony, vizio etc do that ship very very like tooI hope this whole add/tech burns to the ground one day.

The UN voted for a new map projection to be used - Bye Bye Mercator, hello equal earth c:
New one comes with better country proportions and doesnt exxagerates the polar regions as much

also only now I noticed that mercator freacking placed the equator line into Algeria instead of Gabon, DRC, Kenya etc. wth xD

webdev stuff i learned today.
Was kinda confused why there were these random path requests for my site and investigated a bit.

• There are automated reconnaissance bots casually skimming through the web searching for access points / logins to webservers or backends to attack (knew about that)
• What i didnt yet know was one way how they do that, supposedly this is a "asset fingerprinting", trying to get a response from hidden web server/pages which usually doesnt respond or straightup blocks that stuff, but regardless of request sends like favicons/logos of the login page and therefor giving like a "positive" response back.
