We watched the Five Nights at Freddy’s movie- it was actually pretty good, I was surprised. I haven’t played the games, but I know the basic lore, so I unfortunately already knew what was gonna happen, but there were actually some things I could tell they added in! The little kids were also very good actors they freaked me right out

I was also very excited when MatPat was there and he said the thing, and the CoryKenshin was there- and I freaked out and I was like “ohh ohh those are the YouTube guys! :D” and then realized what a brainrotted iPad kid I must have sounded like because they just looked at me like “huh… ok :]” 😭😭

Thank y’all for the kind comments, I really appreciate them. I’m alright now, Dad aploogized and said his reaction was really uncalled for, and I apologized to him as well- Mom didn’t though loll, and she wouldn’t accept any of my apologies
Anyways, sorry if I scared anyone, Dad doesn’t really scream a lot anymore so I can’t imagine it’ll happen again anytime soon :D
We did indeed label it as victim mentality after we had all calmed down though, and I agree with it

I wish my parents would make more of an effort to understand me instead of labeling it all as victim mentality and telling me I’m being disrespectful and screaming at me, therefore making it harder for me to not panic
For the first time ever today my mom told me to stop making myslef
hyperventilate
She used to be in my side and protect me from when Dad screamed at me
What am I supposed to do anymore

I had a really weird dream this morning
I woke up just feeling kind of scared and freaked out
So I guess I was watching this random baby, and it was in a hospital bed (maybe they were monitoring its condition?) anyways it looked really happy, it was cooing and goo goo ga ga-ing, and then all of a sudden it DIES
I DONT KNOW
And then the doctors came in and said it died of anger and it scared me cause what do you mean?? The baby was so angry it died, and it was angry at me? But it looked happy and I didn’t do anything?? So that really stuck with me all day
Oh and also my mom felt like she wasn’t good enough so she left, and we couldn’t find her and she never came back so I was left alone with my baby (two separate dreams, not at all connected, but all the characters were the same)

You said to meet me up there tomorrow, but tomorrow never came.

Death appears uninvited, the pain and regrets linger through the rest of your life.
Today, in honor of my father, I want you to remember and cherish the family you have.
Tell them how much you love them. Leave every busy task you have and show up.
Go create some unforgettable moments together today.
Let this day be an annual reminder to always be there for your family.

Take care of your parents right now, instead of in your memories later.

What do I do for a job?? I’m not really good at anything and I don’t have good grades, but I want an art job. But artists don’t get paid and everyone wants to be an artist- I’ll never be monetized, and I don’t really have anything portfolio worthy.

I was explaining this to my parents and my Dad agreed and mentioned that AI could be an artist too and it was getting better. He also treats me like I don’t know what I’m talking about when I mention people are rebelling against AI art and will purposefully not buy AI generated art products

Ohh!! I hadn’t thought about arts and crafts- I actually really love doing read aloud to kids, that’s so fun!! I may have to see about that!

Honestly it was a couple months ago now so I don’t think they will- but I do already have a job now so that’s fine with me XD but I’m only being employed for a year ai think so I’ll need a job after that

MaltyOtter • 2026-10-02 21:28:05

Don't know how helpful this is, but I work as a soccer ref, you get paid pretty well (bout 18-30 dollars per game depending on what it is) and you don't actually have to play/know the sport at first to become one. It's over the weekends, and you take online training that's self-paced. You have to be 13 or older, which shouldn't be a problem, and I'd consider looking into it if you're interested in a job :3

WileyKitKat Ohh wait yeah- I tried to get a job at one actually and they never messaged me back- but I forgot that was an option!! D...

Well I don't work at that old library anymore since I moved, but I do volunteer work at the library here on my new home. One reason I remembered the library is that maybe you could help with the arts and crafts and planning for storytime. That was something that I did at my old job and still do at my new volunteer job. That might be something you'd be good at. Hopefully they'll call or message you back.

I have a friend whose birthday is coming up, but I don’t know what to get him. He likes sentimental stuff, but I can’t really buy or send him anything- I could draw something for him?? But what would I draw 😭 And I feel like whenever I do draw him I make it look weird ._.
Actually if I made something I could send it to him, but I’d have to wait until after his birthday and just give him pictures of it in the meantime..
