Hello PMC! As the end of this quarter gets closer we would like to give you all an update on the upcoming World Wonders map, and the series as a whole.

The bad news: Unfortunately, we will be postponing the newest World Wonders release to next quarter.Due to the uptick of private commissions and other Minecraft projects over these last few months, we do not have the manpower nor time vortex needed to complete this next release by the end of June. But that being said we are proud to say that it is coming along very nicely, and we’re very excited to share the deserving(And larger) sequel to the Acropolis!

The good news: This allows us to fully complete the map to its fullest, and outfit it with all the bells and whistles that makes a PaleoTech map a PaleoTech map. We will of course continue with the usual schedule of monthly Simple Starter releases (With June's coming out tomorrow!), and with the extra cushion of time we may be able to fit in a few extra surprise releases here and there in the meantime 👀

With this rescheduling, it does mean that the World Wonders map count for the year will be reduced to three instead of the planned four. But we do still fully plan to do (and are already working on) The 2rd and final release and hope to ensure that it comes out on schedule in September December respectively.

We apologize for the delay, but for our own sanity and quality of content, this is a needed sacrifice. From the entirety of PaleoTech we thank you for your patience, and we'll see you tomorrow for the June Simple Starter release!

With the current popularity of our projects and with the influx of new followers over the past year, it seems like a good time to discuss download safety and the distribution of our content.

The only place we will be uploading any of our downloadable projects is to this Planet Minecraft account, with downloads being either directly from PMC, or via a Google Drive link for larger worlds.

We currently do not, and do not plan to use Mediafire or any other file-sharing site. Along with other map listing sites such as MCPEDL, MinecraftMaps.com, and especially 9Minecraft

The safety of our users is of the utmost importance to us, and we would like to state very clearly that even if there is credit given-
-if the download is not to a Planet Minecraft listing under this account-
-it is not an official PaleoTech Download.

Crazy progress in the last 3-4 months. Keeping very close to historical references, planning and building with this degree of accurazy is painstaking!

Progress being made on horticultural and agricultural plots in Pompeii thanks to the help of a few old friends. Glad to have Quirinalis and Romecraft Community pitching in from time to time!

Start of May 2024 update: Been working on regio VIII (Pompeii is split into nine regions) south of the forum area. Progress is slow but steady. Also continuing to update/remaster the buildings at the forum including the basilica and administrative buildings.

I am unsure when I will have the next blog up, probably when I've completed all of regio VIII.

Working on southern terraced houses of Pompeii and the Sarno bathhouse complex. May not look like much at the present but the hours put in are immense. Done plenty of research on archaeological papers and excavation maps to get the area just right. Google Earth has been a big help too to get a 3D view of the area. I will go into much more detail about these processes in my next update blog, hopefully coming out in not too long :)

Playing around with new ways to improve the look of the temples of my Pompeii project using blockstates and working with blocks in a new, creative way.

Also been working on a "remaster" of the forum. As my building skills and techniques improve I like to come back to previous structures to revitalize them. Redid the portico of the forum and did other minor changes.
