Welcome to Malnourished!

Malnourished is a pretty simple mod. It basically allows you to configure vanilla food values to your liking.
The idea is that other mod developers can release their own configs for this, in order for vanilla to work nicely with any food they have. It's also pretty useful for modpack authors to make things a bit more challenging!

By default, the mod comes set up to stop any sort of hunger replenishment from raw chicken, pork and beef. However, the idea is it's totally configurable! I made it so people can make the game harder, but if you want a single slice of bread to completely fill you that's possible too!

This mod is designed for modpacks. As such, you can include it in any pack so long as you have permission from all other authors for their mods too. All I ask is you link back to this page or my website and let people know that I made it!
If you want to re-host this on your own site, again please use my download link and not your own. I will take action against sites which do not meet this very simple requirement.
A comment letting me know you've done the above for either a site or a pack would be very much appreciated!

Configuration
The config file should be pretty self-explanatory. For "food" values, it's a single number, which refers to how many half-drumsticks of hunger it restores. For "sat" values, it's how much the food saturates you, or "fills you up", meaning how long until you need to eat again. It's a decimal, usually below 0. The values pre-entered should give you a good idea of what kind of thing to put.

There is a vanilla config available too, which is set identical to vanilla. It's inside the .jar, or you can get it here:http://adf.ly/Y3Fbj

That's all there is to it!
@PMC Staff - This mod is ENTIRELY a functional thing, it doesn't add a single block, item or anything like that. It simply allows other players to tweak vanilla food values to their liking - as such, there is nothing for me to get an in-game picture of to demonstrate it. If the picture above isn't acceptable, please let me know what you would like instead.

In terraria, if you eat enough, you will get status effect 'well fed'. It will give some health regen for short time... also it would be nice addition to this mod, eating would be seriously useful, not only required.

An interesting idea. I discontunied this mod as it wasn't popular enough to keep as standalone but I'll certainly consider it in FlenixCitiesFood

SEAL OF APPROVAL I give it that because I can change the config a so I can have a semi hardcore experience without having to back up my world in case I die. Food producing plants will still grow like they are having a race but still. BTW is it possible for this to eventually change mod food values as well or would that be too hard to code or something else?

It would work with other mods so long as the other mod is either open-source, or at least gives me access to all their foods via an API.
Give me a list of mods you want support for and I'll do my best. (FlenixCitiesFood is obviously already planned, but beyond that I need to know what mods people want :P)

Well not sure if you should do this yet but industrial craft 2 experimental and orespawn. Not sure if they are open source or not ecept industrial craft (otherwise people can't make addons)

IC2 is actually closed-source, but from memory if you ask them about something specific they usually oblige. There's an API which may or may not be enough though, I don't know if it has everything or only the power management stuff.

Never heard of orespawn (Doesn't really sound like a food mod :P) so I'll take a look.

No the ORESPAWN mod a mod that adds more than just spawn egg ores. Basically it is a big mod that adds mobs, bosses, food (Including but not limited to popcorn), girlfriends (believe it or not) and so much more that you just have to see for yourself. Just search for orespawn on this site and it should come up.

I'm not a mod (clearly), but I would suggest adding a picture of the config file in addition to the one you already have up.
